This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I know this is the Target chit chat thread, but those of you who have been using the $5 JC Penney coupons, JC Penney now requires you to register a credit card to get your $5 coupon, so if you want more, now's the time to get them on ebay before the prices go crazy! I just bought 60 for $18 Big Grin

Thanks Dm for bringing up salsa, look what you did out here!

I am down to 3 full rubbermaid totes and 1 large cabinet full, and this was after I gaveout 50 jars this past weekend.

Sorry about your daughter's accident. I work nights in the ER - usually Triage or Charge nurse so I'm the one that has to stay calm when the frantic moms come in with their injured child. I've been doing this a lot of years but when it was my child that needed emergency medical care, the 'calm nurse' disappeared and 'frantic mom' took over.
Don't feel bad, accidents happen all the time. I usually tell moms that most kids are going to get stitches or a broken bone at least once growing up!

It rains in SoCal but really only in the winter and we don't get much. We have had some days where is sprinkles all day long. We can get downpours but that is pretty rare.

Our average annual rain fall is a little over 10 inches.

Last year we only got 3.5 inches Bigeye This is why we freak out when the Santa Ana's start to blow in September/October. Vegitation has dried up creating perfect conditions for wildfires.

Thankfully this year we've had lots of Rain and we only need 2.5 more inches to get to the annual average.
