This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I do not know what I need /want honestly LOL. I was not expecting to get bombarded, I should have asked for an sase from everyone, but I cannot go back on that, it would be so rude Frown

I personally find cvs much easier...I have been doing it for 6 years well a little over now, maybe closer to 7 i guess? I do not know LOL. Easier to roll the ecb, etc. CVS has gone down hill in the last years though...Everything used to be unlimited, etc. Now there are limits and its crazy...

I divorced them for Target. I couldn't deal with the new limits, used to be everything was 5, now it seems that everything is 1. Plus, the x/xx all beep now, and my nasty a$$ cashier wont take them if they beep.

I would love to do Target but I just cannot wrap my brain around it for some reason Frown I wish someone would just pm me the "Target for Dummies" manual... LMAO

I agree about the limits and the $/$$...I will never forget when CVS first opened in my area, they took over Eckerds. They had 3 coupons in their ad, a $5/$10, a $3 off any cvs brand and a $2 off any greeting card...Well each time you got $5 worth of stuff free. I had so much cofee, pantene, trash bags, etc...OMG talk about fun!!!! That was the best time i ever had at cvs. Welll maybe the life fitness chews deal was fun....and the rolaids deal Big Grin Sheesh! Lots of good deams in the past, but not so much now Frown

I found 92% ground beef for $1.20 a lb. The 85% was $1 a lb. WOW! I wish I had a bigger freezer!
I also found a couple of the London Broils for under $2. I hate to sound silly, but do you just cook these like roasts?
.You can, yes. try a few recipe sites out there for other ideas....but most of them will say to cook slow for a longer period of time.

Can someone help me out here? I have posted in the regular Target thread before in the past (although not for awhile), and today I posted twice -- and both posts got deleted. I am just so confused?? The first post mentioned using a Q for a free item and a Target Q as well, and then I asked if T carries snack-sized Sunsist pistachios because there are $1 Q's out (tearpad; can't remember where I found them). That gets deleted, so I re-ask the pistachio question thinking that maybe mentions of "over***" are no longer allowed. But then that gets deleted too.

?? I'm perplexed?? I saw plenty of other people asking if T carries certain items. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe someone can answer me in PM... I'm afraid this message is going to get deleted soon too... Frown

Jess- I do not know why it got deleted but i can tell you that I have not seen Sunkist pistachios in the small size at either ST or regular t Frown I looked every aisle and at the registers.

You can email a mod and ask them why the post got deleted, maybe they will help you out.

Good luck!

Their reactions range from complete lack of interest to mild curiosity. Some occasionally sniff him, and then walk away.

Earlier Alexei (grey kitteh) was on the couch while I was changing Andreas, who screams every time his diaper is off. Alexei looked over at him, like "This new kitteh is weird-- he has no fur and makes way too much noise." And then he left the room. Rofl2
Too cute! Just wait until he is old enough to start chasing them and pulling tails. I used to worry about the kids getting scratched in the "cat vs. baby" battle, but now I just tell DS, "he wouldn't have scratched you if you weren't chasing him and sitting on him" laugh out loud

If your store has the Blink eye drops ($7.99 get $8 RR) and you have the $2 Blink MQ's, you can also get a Colgate MaxFresh ($3.29 get $3.50 RR) and a Vaseline lotion product (some have found clearance ones, I haven't - but the hand cream one is $2.84 get $2 RR) and you have a $1.50 Vaseline MQ that will work on it (or another kind) then you can 'roll' your $10 RR into a $8 RR, $3.50 RR and $2 RR with very little OOP. Then, put the $3.50 RR and the $2 RR aside and use the $8 RR for more Dove soap/trial stuff, get your $10 RR again and do it all over again! Big Grin (Confusing, I know...it took me a little bit of time to get it. Embarrassment)

Hey ya'll!

Found some new (to me) blinkies tonight at Ralph's in SoCal - $1/2 Totinos Pizza Rolls. Aren't these about a buck at T Wink ? Nothing else in any of my adventures at Ralph's or Long's. Dang - Ralph's is expensive! Headed back to Chicagoland tomorrow....Sadwalk

Hey BB, the ones they mail from the MCR are KM friendly (for the BOGO 20 oz, not the 12-pk, don't waste my points on the 12-pk BOGOs Smilie... ). I have one at home that I have been meaning to use.

Thrifty - as for maternity dresses - I used to buy plus-size clothing when I was pregnant - actually cuter and not so "pregnant" looking. I always thought it was pretty cruel to put the plus-size and maternity departments side-by-side but it seems like most retailers do that. Things that make you go "hmmmm".

I still can't wrap my brain around the Wags stuff. I think I have a problem with the RR's. I'm too used to ECB's, where I can rinse and repeat. What if I do this Dove deal and get my RR's, but then can't find another item to roll them on?
Scratchchin I would love to be able to figure these, but my mind was formed around ECBs. I don't understand the concept of a RR or how to use them later, or if you get more than one, or how to combine them...Crying

I actually got burnt out during the Oct. 07 unlimited craze and haven't really been back unless it's for soda, etc.

Okay, I hit a new Target yesterday. Really. what a thrill!!! Whee new shopping carts all plastic and cool, produce even though it's not a ST, and miles of new stuff with peelies *sigh* Of course this store is 45 min. away so I thought we wouldn't be recognized...wrong!!! The GSTL from my store was there training and followed us to laugh at us for driving so far for a new Target....Blush

So far I have managed to get 8 packs of the top round steak. The most I paid for one pack was .94! However.....I tried to cook beef and broccoli with some of it tonight. I tenderized it quite a bit, but it was still too tough to eat. The recipe also called for a cup of soy sauce, and so of course I added that much. DD said it was just like licking a salt block!! Oh well, I didn't fuss too much - at least I tried! Stopped by Sonic after Church and picked up a second supper for the family!
Remember LOW and SLOW on tough meats...marinating helps, and as much as I hate to say it, because I love salt, wait until you actually start cooking it to use the salt, but go ahead with any of the other herbs and spices. London Broil can be a very good meal if done right, shoe leather if not!!! LOL

Thanks you guys for all your helpful information on this thread...my lovely daughter-in-law is a genius at this stuff, but because my husband has lost his job, I am now finding that I really have to take my shopping seriously. I understand the concept of this kind of shopping, but learning all the ins and outs, tricks of the trade is so confusing sometimes! And this old dog ain't learning the tricks to fast! Wish me luck!!!
