These "tougher" cuts of meat need to be cooked at a low temp for a long period of time.

My favorite way to do them is to put them in a large crockpot in the morning. Then I mix two cans of cream of mushroom soup with one can of water, one packet of dry onion soup mix and a little bit of Kitchen Bouquet to make it brown, and then pour that over the top of the meat. Cover and go to work! It cooks about 10 hrs. When I get home the meat is very tender. I just fork shred it right in the crockpot to make meat for hot beefs. or else cook some egg noodles and top with the meat mixture. And if I feel it needs a little more gravy, I add some fat free beef gravy out of a jar.

Sometimes I cook the same way in the crockpot but instead of covering with soup I cover the meat with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and a little brown sugar. I usually serve this with au gratin potatoes. My son loves this.

Scratchchin I would love to be able to figure these, but my mind was formed around ECBs. I don't understand the concept of a RR or how to use them later, or if you get more than one, or how to combine them...Crying
I actually got burnt out during the Oct. 07 unlimited craze and haven't really been back unless it's for soda, etc.
Okay, how far did you drive to the Target?? I wish they would open one up here in this town... It has 2 walmarts, a best buy, goody's petco, a huge mall, its a very nice sized town....There is the most perfect spot for it too! Why does target not listen to me??? laugh out loud

I shop every week at CVS. I love it too much to not shop there, but I haven't wanted to go anymore this week since I already got my fill of most of the deals. March is a crappy month for them, so I am blowing some ecbs on stuff for me I guess. Good thing wags is evening up or my house might actually be clean! LMAO

I personally find cvs much easier...I have been doing it for 6 years well a little over now, maybe closer to 7 i guess? I do not know LOL. Easier to roll the ecb, etc. CVS has gone down hill in the last years though...Everything used to be unlimited, etc. Now there are limits and its crazy...
hug Sorry you got so bombarded! I would be glad to send you anything - even a stamp! Teehee

Im off to have my affair with walgreens....I hate cheating on CVS they have been so good to me for 7 years...LOL. I am still going to stop there and pray they are out of Carnation so I can get a couple rain checks...LOL.

You are in Michigan, yes? Your ad probably doesn't have the 7 day Q for the $.99 Dove soap. If you get the sucky "short" ad (like we do) then you don't get that 7 day Q that you need to do the Dove soap deal. You can do the deal with the trial size Dove deo still, which can still be a good deal. Some stores have these regular price for $.99 and there are $1.50/2 any size Dove deo Qs out.

ETA: I don't have a lot of free time these days Embarrassment but if anyone needs any help with WAG deals, feel free to ask here or PM me. We don't have CVS, and I've been "WAG"ging since 2001 so I'm happy to help.

So, if I do have the 7 day ad, then I buy 8 bars of the .99 soap and I get $10 RR? Is that correct?

TIA!!!

Thanks! I thought I need new glasses... couldn't find the deal anywhere except in the WAG thread.

Just to clarify, to get the $10 RR, can I do the full-size and trial-size Dove soaps? Confused

(already did the trial-size deodorants with my Qs and it worked!)

I'm MI, but I do have the $.99 dove Q in the weekly ad. (this deal is not as attractive without any Qs out there.)

Thanks for the help.

The single bars of Dove soap that are on sale for $.99 I don't think are considered "trial" size, though it probably depends on whom you ask. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I think there are actual tiny little "trial" size soaps and I haven't read of anyone trying those out for the RR.

Saw the trial-size bar soaps in the trial-size bins this morning, but didn't have time to try it. Plus, I was at the evil store, with the evil goblins working.

If your store has the Blink eye drops ($7.99 get $8 RR) and you have the $2 Blink MQ's, you can also get a Colgate MaxFresh ($3.29 get $3.50 RR) and a Vaseline lotion product (some have found clearance ones, I haven't - but the hand cream one is $2.84 get $2 RR) and you have a $1.50 Vaseline MQ that will work on it (or another kind) then you can 'roll' your $10 RR into a $8 RR, $3.50 RR and $2 RR with very little OOP. Then, put the $3.50 RR and the $2 RR aside and use the $8 RR for more Dove soap/trial stuff, get your $10 RR again and do it all over again! : D (Confusing, I know...it took me a little bit of time to get it. : O)
This is why I heart Target, Kmart & occasionally Helly. I get in and out with only buying what I need and don't need to play the buy this crap to get this $$ back in RR or ECB's that expire in xx amount of time so you better get your butt back to the store and figure out another deal.

I only go to CVS over BF or when they have 90% off clearance. From BF I let over $30 in ECB's expire...I am just too damn busy to shop according to ECB's or RR expiration dates!

Target GC's nevah expire! Whee

Hey ya'll!

Found some new (to me) blinkies tonight at Ralph's in SoCal - $1/2 Totinos Pizza Rolls. Aren't these about a buck at T ; ) ? Nothing else in any of my adventures at Ralph's or Long's. Dang - Ralph's is expensive! Headed back to Chicagoland tomorrow....: sadwalk:
Ralph's is expensive! We used to get all kinds of free stuff on a weekly basis when they doubled up to and including $1. Farkers changed that and now it is only up to $1. They can kiss it!

Oh and I heart the Totino's blinkie...I am not a blinkie expert like you though, I am sure you cleaned it out. Roll

Hey BB, the ones they mail from the MCR are KM friendly (for the BOGO 20 oz, not the 12-pk, don't waste my points on the 12-pk BOGOs Smilie... ). I have one at home that I have been meaning to use.

Thrifty - as for maternity dresses - I used to buy plus-size clothing when I was pregnant - actually cuter and not so "pregnant" looking. I always thought it was pretty cruel to put the plus-size and maternity departments side-by-side but it seems like most retailers do that. Things that make you go "hmmmm".
I have tomorrow off. I thought I could head to the ST 45 mins away but DD gets out of school at noon. I swear this kid has more days off and 1/2 days than all other schools in the area combined! The kicker is that it is a private school and I pay tuition. I don't even want to do the math to figure out how much I am paying per day. I would Blowup

On an even more positive note, I received her registration packet for high school. Tuition will be nearly $700 a month for 10 mos. On the bright side it is not $1000 a month like it would be at the San Diego schools.

Oh so long story short I guess I am staying close to home and checking out Kohls and possibly Penneys for maternity gear.

My mantra for the day is....Calgon take me away!

Yeah, I pretty much have to take it, but if I don't I don't get in trouble...It doesn't work for everything, but it does work for certain strains, and I get exposed to so much every day. I got tested at the doc today, it's not the flu, just a nasty virus and sinus/ear infection. So I should be good to go as soon as the antibiotics kick in, which is good because I have some RKT's to buy.
