If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

If you have applied and got the message about Chase letting you know about their decision, You can call the chase lending credit department... I applied last night, got the 30 day message, called the next day, and expedited my approval over the phone within 10 minutes and even had them ship the card overnight - This is the # for Chase's sapphire department: 8886097805

Good luck! Smilie

I have chase sapphire reserve but I never got the new card bonus on it (didn't spend the required amount in time). If I close CSR account and open a preferred would I get the bonus offer?
You have to wait 30 days in between. Better to downgrade your CSR to Freedom and you'll only need to wait 1 week.

Because slickdeals makes a commission for each approved credit card, same reason why all the credit card bloggers shill so hard for cards they're pushing. It's really just an alternative sales channel

That might not be long enough depending on when you got the signup bonus for your Sapphire Preferred.

Do you have a number to call to see when we got the signup bonus for our past chase cards?

You are not eligible for any Sapphire bonus within 48 months of earning your last Sapphire bonus.

CSR bonus is 50,000 points on $4000 spend within 3 months.

It needs to be more than 48 months since you received the bonus. Check your old statements. If you don't have access to the statements, then check your credit report for the card approval date and add a conservative 4-5 months to estimate when you received the bonus. Then add 48 months to that before applying.

You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."

Thanks for that information, I am constantly looking for and closing accounts to get bonuses.
