If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Does college fees counts as purchase ?

But sometime college will charge you upto 3% for paying fee using credit card compared to bank transfer. Mine does. Be careful.

Just wait for their first reply. Most of the time, it is just the address verification.

With the pandemic and travel halted, they should really be lenient on new account holders (less than a month since account opened) and either waive the annual fee for the first year or extend the promo period. Chase seems to be doing nothing to show support to customers.

CSR fee $450 for renewals by 7/1, instead of the new $550 fee. $100 credit issued automatically.

"We recognize this is a difficult time for everyone. As a way to help, we're providing you a one-time $100 statement credit toward the 2020 $550 annual fee on your Reserve credit card. On an upcoming billing statement (based on your renewal date), you'll see a $550 charge for the annual fee, followed by a $100 statement credit. We will continue to bill the $550 annual fee in 2021.
Because this credit only applies to open Reserve accounts, if you've closed your Reserve account or traded to another credit card before your renewal, you will not receive the $100 statement credit. We know COVID-19 has affected people in many different ways. Please check chase.com/StayConnected for updates and helpful ways to stay connected to your accounts."

Not to hijack this thread, but wanted to see if I can get any help here. I have been and currently on the phone with Chase for 2 hours and 21 minutes already.
I already received my Chase Sapphire card and I can use it normally.
I am trying to create an online account so I can view and pay online, but it goes through a phone verification method, and it is already a preset number ending in 2270. I have no idea who's number that is, and I never inputted that.
I called customer service and if I give them my real cellphone number, they said that they cannot send a verification number to that number.
I got transferred to the security department (had to wait an hour), and they verified me, and passed me back to customer service (same department with the first person I spoke with), and again they tried to send me a verification code but only can send to that number that ends in 2270.
Disappointly, they only thing they can do is to pass me back to the security department again (which I am currently on hold), and I think I am going around in circles now.
I just want to enroll on an online account, any alternative method to accomplish this?

Go into a branch to have them verify you in person take your SS card and DL. Only prob is branches may be closed due to covid-19. Is you cell phone a google voice / voip number? If so that will cause a problem.

Thank you.
Yes, you were right. Got a letter stating " Please call us to discuss your credit application" and the application process was completed and credit card approved after validating the SSN & other info with the Representative.
