Update: The premium plan is now $45 before autopay discount, but no longer includes Uber credits. For those that don't use Uber, but pay for Amazon Prime, that now makes this plan the best deal.

Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprint.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

Note: Sprint stated they were in the process of of migrating all SERO accounts to SWAC, so you can either initiate the move yourself if you wish, or wait until they eventually get to your account.

Here is the dedicated customer service email. [email protected]
When I last used it, they took a full day to reply, but did so personably and thoroughly.

I just came in to say SERO!!!, is that still around and people on it? I left it a couple of years ago, thought I was the one to turn out the lights and lock the door on it. Guess not.
Hey, I remember you from those SERO threads/posts from way-back-when.

My mom is still on SERO and has no intention on switching. The deprioritization of data is the biggest stopgap.

Wow. I had that back when I had a Galaxy S3. Never again Sprint.

Tell me about it. Before I worked for them I scoured the net for employee emails online to get SERO lmfao. Sprintusers.com was a charm too. Then I decided to work for them for close to 7 years. Network is still shitty in Metro Detroit.

That's literally the only reason not to switch. I figure the data sucks no matter what, so why pay more for it.

Her data usage used to be in the 30GB range and recently hit 50GB a month. I don't see her using less data anytime soon since she lives on her own with no wifi. She has no use for hotspot nor does she need prime or hulu. She just needs WeChat.

I doubt she would notice any difference. If she did it would only be a couple days a month, as the first 50GB/mo. are not deprioritized. Perhaps a heavy user who has made the switch can share their experience.

I've held out on the $50 SERO for years "just in case" I need all that unlimited data, but Im halfway through my cycle and haven't even used 1GB yet. Going with the $30 plan to try to save some money on amazon too. Thanks!

I don't doubt that, but if I have to hear about it I would rather spend the extra 20 a month (I pay for her SERO account).

I have 2 SERO accounts ( mine and my husbands). Tried to switch via chat and was told I needed to call. Was on chat for different issue next day and happened to ask and did switch with no issue. Was told that accounts were being tagged to be able to be switched.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone who had SERO, but had their plan converted at any point have any success in converting? I was about to port out to T-Mobile until I saw this thread, so figured I would give it a shot with customer service and no go.

Not sure why all the hate for Sprint. Had them for a year and the service is great esp. customer support compared to crappy and $Verizon, tmo and other mvnos.

Thanks OP for posting!

I'm on Sero $50, and I know nothing about SWAC.

Is there anything I'm losing by switching to SWAC that I should be aware of?

And is the included Amazon Prime full Amazon Prime, meaning that I can cancel my current yearly sub?
As noted in a previous thread, I can confirm that legacy SERO plans can be converted to SWAC plan. If you've been waiting for Sprint to contact you and have decided that this migration to SWAC would work for you, you can initiate the migration. I've had the SERO 500 plan, for several years and after reading other threads regarding this planned migration to SWAC, decided to contact Sprint.

As suggested in a recent Reddit thread, I sent an email to Sprint's CEO: [email protected] , requesting conversion of my SERO plan to SWAC and within 30 minutes received a follow-up email from Sprint Customer Care advising that my plan was converted to "Advantage Unlimited Plus"; but, was also given the option to upgrade to:

**** Please be advised your lines are also eligible for the Advantage
Unlimited Premium Plan. *****

Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan includes the following:
• $55 Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan
• Available for new SWAC/EWD family lines and migrations for existing
SWAC/EWD family lines
• $5/mo/line discount with active AutoPay enrollment
• Unlimited Canada/Mexico data roaming
• Streaming Full HD Video
•Includes 100 GB MHS along with Amazon prime,
•Outlook / Lookout Premium Plus
•12 month limited time Uber promotional credit plus existing features
from Advantage Plus.

woah, these accounts are actually worth something? Glad I was too lazy to cancel.
Is this deal worth switching to swac?
