I'd say this, if anything because of the the Costco return and warranty benefits.

I have been out looking at a Magnolia BB and regular BB and the TCL's all had something wrong with them. One panel was going out resulting in jerking movement (75" 6 series) another had dark corners (65 6 series).
I would weigh this against the 82nu8000. $500 more for 7" more. Your wife would pay up.

That 82 inch Samsung has issues with blurring though (would be painful to watch sports on). Apparently that's the only size in the nu series that has issues. He could go with the 75nu and save a little bit.

I've had this TV for a while (maybe mine is a previous version P series), prices gone down quite a bit since then. The performance is great. Our room gets some outdoor light and the panel is bright enough.

The one thing to keep in mind is the weight if you plan on hanging it up. It is one heavy TV probably because of the full array.

75 QLED which model? If you talking about Q6, then this TV is better than Q6.

RTNGS rate this TV above the NU8000 (my dream upgrade)... My need is for PC/Computer HookUp (for mixing work and play from a couch in my living room).. The NU8000 is a perfect fit for me for my checklist - specially that it supports Freesync (1440p # 120hz) , Xbox1-X, perfect 4:4:4 Chroma...

No Frys near me though to make my investment sub-$1500 although the current Costco price of ~$1650 is tempting.

It's $1440 via Samsung.com if you have student/employee/military discount access. But outside Freesync and not having to play the panel lottery, this is arguably the better TV.

Mind sharing how I could use Fry's to get it for less than $1500? I don't even see it available on their website.
