If you were looking to make your own retropi/mame cabinet… I challenge you to find Controls and Cabinet for less than $75. There are a number of Facebook Groups and at least one Sub-Reddit dedicated to helping you you get the most out of your purchase.

Love the look of the thing. The classic Centipede art just looks so cool.
Now to wait for Rampage and SFII to hit $75 lol.
Very thin, and about 24"x48"
Centipede is a vertical oriented screen, Asteroids is standard 5:4 aspect ratio... both have unique controls compared to the other cabs, an experience that's less common than joystick controls in other types of games these guys are putting out. If it's your thing, I'd grab these while they are available, or perhaps the 12-in-1 Atari cab if it goes on clearance.

rampage all 300 around me.
I seen in the ad few days ago they got mortal kombat 2 cabinets now.. which imo was the best "arcade" mortal kombat.
The cabinets are small though.. the store had one on display but you couldn't do anything other than hit start button (controls had plexi over them)
The single player games are probably ok size wise, just get a stool or build a base to bring the cabinet up for avg size adult play.. kids are probably gtg.
Even if you can get the hardware to run mame I'd say if you're going to be serious about a cabinet build your own.. or buy one off craigs list.
If you're not the builder type then I'd say Rampage is the cabinet to get it and forget it.
fighters like SF2 would be the best for any sort of half has mame conversion cause it already has a very good 6 button layout, although many arcade games followed the jamma standard of 3 buttons + 8way joystick.
If you are just gonna buy a cabinet to play with no plans to modify avoid fighting games.. without a 2nd player fighting games loose their luster extremely fast.
that's why games like pac-man, galaga, centipede did so well in the arcades because of replay value and you don't need a 2nd player for it to still be fun.
rampage would be a good choice for it's 3 player action if you can actually fit 3 players on the small cabinet and is "ok" even by your self.

The new UPC code one might include the deck protector to prevent the artwork from rubbing off. I was able to snag one for $75 and it did not come with the deck cover
