Our research indicates that at the time of this post, the Neato Botvac D6 Connected Robot Vacuum is $174.32 less (32.625% savings) than the next best available price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $534.31.
bigger battery, better brush roller, better filter (you can buy all these replacement parts and use on D4), and side brush (no options to add that on your D4).
D7 has been tested to have the highest of all the CFM on the D lineup even though Neato swears they all have the same motor and power. This has been tested countless times and each time yields the same results that the D7 has more power because of purposeful handicapping by Neato.
The S5 cleans better than the D6 simply because the D6's corners get stuck a lot. Round is better with robots for a reason. The Neato lineup is notorious for problems getting stuck ESPECIALLY on their first run, which is require BEFORE you can use no-go-lines.
The S5 allows you to drive your S5 yourself with the software and map the entire house without getting stuck, then draw your no-go-lines, then run it for the first time.
The S5 has superior software and design. The Neato D7 has superior power and deep carpet cleaning ability but not by much as most people don't run them on max power anyway since they're all pretty loud when you're trying to do anything.
You will find a lot more negative reviews on the Neato lineup compared to the roborock lineup. The Roborock lineup just seems less prone to issues. Most issues I've seen people have are due to neglect (not cleaning brush rolls when they have long hair or pets) which will be the death of a robot vacuum.
I own two roborock S5s and love them. I wanted a D7 forever until I really did my research and found that the roborock is just beating it overall, especially on price.

I have D4 which i can return. Major Advantage of D6 over D4? Contemplating to buy. It's 381 with tax for me. Got d4 for 256
