Saw a new sign at Walmart that looks pretty interesting. There's no dates on it, and I can't find any info on the deal anywhere which tells me that someone probably screwed up and put the sign out too soon....but anyway.

Seems like a pretty good deal for AT&T network:

$50/mo. but $40 with autopay:
- UNL Talk & Text
- 25GB High Speed Data then 2G
- Hotspot included
- Mexico and Canada roaming included

2 lines would be $70, 3 lines would be $100, 4 lines would be $120, and 5 lines would be $140.

Looks like this deal is only at Walmart - everywhere else has 16GB data offer and it requires autopay. This offer looks like it doesn't require auto-pay.

Not seeing anything specific to Walmart phone purchase/25gb in that link. Just the 16gb deal that has been around a couple of months now.

Didn't see anything about this at the Walmart I just got back from either.

Never mind. I see it online. Now wondering if you can get 5 line discount for $140/mo like the 16gb AT&T offer.

I think the Slickdeals Referral is making it default to the regular Prepaid site.

I realize that is the discount for multiple lines off of the AT&T 16gb offer but it doesn't state that discount on this Walmart plan. It does say multiline members are eligible but that may mean just for the 25gb part but no discount per line charge. So I suspect 5 lines would be $200 with 25gb data per line.

Seems like this Straight Talk plan is a little more but you don't have to buy a device to get 25 GB of ATT service.

Confused on this.. Is it 25GB per line? If you want 2, 3 or 4 lines, is it just a shared bucket of 25GB total? And.... to confuse it even more, it doesn't say you're getting 25GB per month? Or am I missing that part too?

The bonus data is per month as long as you are on the $50 plan and per line.

Walmart $25GB for $50/mo: Available at Walmart In-store or Walmart.com only. Requires purchase of AT&T PREPAID phone & activation & payment on new line of service on $50 monthly plan. To receive 17GB of bonus data each month, you must remain on the $50 monthly plan and complete all requirements within 60 days of phone purchase. Once qualifications have been met, bonus data will be applied to customer's account within 10 days after activation and within 2 days after each qualified renewal. Multi-Line members are eligible. Bonus data is used before plan data and does not rollover. Not combinable with select other promotions and/or discounts.

I am wondering if I buy the lowest priced eligible phone from Walmart which appears to be https://www.walmart.com/ip/AT-T-P.../581538359 if I can swap in my regular phone after activating and retain the 17gb bonus. Doesn't say that the activated phone must remain on the line. I really can't jump on this though unless I know I can get the 5 lines/$140 cost like the AT&T 16gb offer.

While in store, can you ask if it is possible to port-in existing prepaid with a competitor.
Also, if I want to bring two lines of service, do I have to buy two different phones?
Last question, if I decide to add a third line later, in a month or so, does this offer apply to that line, too? Thank you

It's 25GB per line. So if you have 3 lines you'd each have your own 25GB.

Guys - this is the 8GB plan that you're signing up for so all the multi-line discounts apply. Each line that is activated using a Walmart purchased phone during the promo will get 17GB bonus data for as long as you have an account in good standing. 8+17=25GB/Month

Yes you can port in from a competitor. If you have Cricket it might be easier to port to T-Mo for a day then port back to ATTP.

Each line is independent for the promo so yea to get 25GB on each you'd need to buy two phones.

You could, but 50% of usage needs to be in the US so if he lives in CA they'd cancel his line after a couple months.
