Saw a new sign at Walmart that looks pretty interesting. There's no dates on it, and I can't find any info on the deal anywhere which tells me that someone probably screwed up and put the sign out too soon....but anyway.
Seems like a pretty good deal for AT&T network:
$50/mo. but $40 with autopay:
- UNL Talk & Text
- 25GB High Speed Data then 2G
- Hotspot included
- Mexico and Canada roaming included
2 lines would be $70, 3 lines would be $100, 4 lines would be $120, and 5 lines would be $140.
Looks like this deal is only at Walmart - everywhere else has 16GB data offer and it requires autopay. This offer looks like it doesn't require auto-pay.

- Purchased Walmart phone (Cingular Flip 2)
- Activated phone through online activation portal and bought $50 plan
- After 1-2 hours, I ported in my number from T-Mobile and swapped phones
Still waiting for bonus data. Hopefully it's added by middle of next week.
I will report back.
If you are already on an AT&T reseller like Red Pocket, please be advised that they are unable to do a number change on your account.
I have 2 lines on Red Pocket.
For me, they deactivated my newly assigned phone numbers and sims that I had activated on the AT&T prepaid website after purchasing 2 phones from Walmart yesterday.
At that point, they then created 2 new accounts, but now the issue is that the sims from Walmart have been deactivated.
They are trying to reactivate those sims, but now I'm not sure I'll be able to get my 25GB promo.
Had to do it all again and enter an Austin zip code to have both numbers in the same market.
So dumb
Luckily, I was able to sell the SIM card on reddit and just returned the first phone to Walmart.

how to best maintain your US incoming calls on a GSM phone with your US number in India?
how to best maintain your US incoming calls on a GSM phone with your US number in India?
I m only more concerned about using it for incoming calls from US while i m in India.?
i dont wanna signup for 24 mos contract? with T-mobile?
Other options?
1. Purchase phones from Walmart and activate
2. Wait for bonus data to show on each line
3. Port AT&T postpaid lines to T-Mobile prepaid temporarily
4. Call in to AT&T prepaid customer service to port numbers from T-Mobile
5. Wait for bonus data to show once again on each line
6. Merge the lines into a multi-line account
Is this a good plan of action? Thank you.
AT&T no longer prorates when service is cancelled (which porting accomplishes).

I just went to my local T-Mobile store but this was a bad idea because they charged me $15 for a SIM car kit. In the future I would just go to my local Apple Store and get some T-Mobile SIM cards for free then do it online and have the ports take place instantly. You'll need the SIM card number and the IMEI from each phone.
Since you have users in different states you could ask them to all go to their local Apple Store to get a T-Mobile SIM card and then have them send you the number so that you can use that for the port. That way they can use the SIM until you port them back into AT&T PrePaid. I would also recommend you have each of them go buy a device from Walmart and do the same with sending you the IMEI of the device and the SIM card number so you can activate and allow them to use once you port back in.
