Wife and I had our New OB appointment yesterday. Found out that she is approximately 8 weeks and 6 days, with a due date 11/28. They gave us two pictures, which I didn't think they would do until the next ultrasound. Heartrate was 176 and strong. So here is our first child. . .If this needs to be merged with the new baby thread so be it, but until then carry on.

Great to see the little bean huh DS? I've had my 20 week u/s but really want to see him again before delivery. DH even mentioned last night that with all of the technology out there why aren't there home u/s units. I then had to explain that there isn't scientific evidence that holds excessive u/s as harmless. Like Christmas gotta wait to open the present.

I was a high risk pregnancy with my second, I had an ultrasound at (I think) every appointment. My doctor was so cool too that he'd always print a bunch of pictures, so I have a TON of her from every month.
I wish I had taken more profile shots of me though, I only have a few. I did manage to take one at the hospital about an hour before she was born.
DS - tell your wife to take pictures of her profile - she might not want them now, but trust me, she will later.
