Totally the opposite here. Saturday is my "get crap done day" that I don't have time for during the week. Sunday is my day to rest, relax, and just kind of vegetate.

Yesterday was "clean out the turtle tank" day. A solid 3-4 hours to completely clean the whole setup. Last major cleaning of the year.

It's a 55 gallon tank, so we drained the whole thing, then took it outside to hose it down until the gravel is as clean as we can get it. Then thoroughly scrubbing all the insides, cleaning out the pump, and so forth. It's probably about time for a bigger tank, he's finally bigger than my hand.

I keep fish though, so there's no "completely emptying" it or taking it outside. That part I like. LMAO

Yeah, he's a messy eater. Some people advocate taking them out and having them eat in a separate container, since they usually... uh... vacate themselves shortly afterwards.
It would be nice if we could keep snails in there to keep things cleaner, but he loves eating snails. He decimated an entire population of trumpet snails in pretty short order. Took out an apple snail too.
