I just got a Facebook invite and didn't see anyone else post it.
Starbucks is giving out Free Nitro shots on August 2nd while supplies last, limit one per customer. Not sure if there are any other exclusions but recently Starbucks reported they will sell Nitro from half to all their locations but it still might be a YMMV

Lol, no I usually ask for one when picking up an iced tea after lunch and need a little extra pick-me-up
I haven't heard anything about this yet(I also have off that day thank goodness lol) but it does look like an official event.
Nitro is our cold brew coffee injected with nitrogen. It gives it a smooth creamy texture without the need for cream. It doesn't nessasarily raise the caffeine content but it does make it so it hits your blood stream faster. For this reason you can only order a tall or grande size.
Not every store offers nitro. It is only available in corporate stores (ie not Target or grocery store Starbucks kiosks) and it isn't available in every Starbucks yet.
