Cricket's $60 unlimited plan will get 15gb free hotspot.
Cricket is doing v low numbers lately so theyre doing some bogos.

I mean, I left Cricket for ATT Prepaid. What the hell do they expect? At one time Cricket was basically the best deal you could get on a good network. But they've neglected it and put all their resources and good deals into ATT prepaid. I feel like this is intentional -- it seems silly for ATT to have two separate prepaid brands that compete with one another, so I just figured they were trying to get as many customers to migrate over naturally before they eventually roll everything under one brand.

Ah, pointing out their new plan. My bad. Is that the only new plan for Cricket?

It felt slower than that. I left ATT for T-mobile this year after going over my data allotment and having web pages take like 5 minutes to load if they loaded at all.
Hell, that was everyday for me with Cricket. AT&T admitted the towers were overwhelmed yet Cricket denied it. Refused to even request an ETR from AT&T. Junk company IMO.

5/$150 for the faster unlimited plan, too. At least that was the info.

Plus taxes and fees. If you live in IL like I do, taxes will be like $8 extra per month. There is always a $5 e911 fee plus other bogus fees.

Well...it's prepaid for 1 year....so there are no taxes. When you add a SIM and 1-yr plan to cart the total comes to $305.34 so looks like sales tax on the SIM card or device purchased.

That sounds like a good plan. Only issue I have is the ping in Cali. Is this the only plan they are releasing?

+1. I left cricket for the same reason. Ping alone was terrible.

FYI if you pay 1 year upfront, you can get 8gb from Mint Mobile for $20 a month (240 a year). TMo signal.
I just signed a "trial" 3 month Mint Mobile to try them out after leaving Sprint. I want to like their service, but cannot send pictures in text messages. Does anyone know a fix for this? Related YouTube vids aren't helping. Thanks.

Do you really think it will improve from $30/month/2GB to better than this? I take it no roaming with this prepaid. So you will fully lose signal if you're outside of ATT network instead of hopping on another network and continuing on with your call.

At&t prepaid doesn't have roaming

Around thanksgiving 2018, I paid 240 for the 360 days 10GB plan from red pocket. I picked the ATT sim over the T-mobile. Unless there is an urgent need for a plan now, I think people should wait. There is more room for better deal.
