After 8gb, does it throttle or will ATT automatically charge you extra?
In my account I can add 1GB for $10. And I usually buy top up cards online, can find a $10 card for about $8-9 usually.

But is this really 8GB for the whole year? You might be better off going monthly. You get 1GB data for $35 a month but if you set up autopay the price drops to $30 a month. Then I can usually find top up cards on sale for 10% off, sometimes even better. So the price drops to let's say $27 per month. Only $2 more per month and you get 4GB more data per year. You can still add 1GB if you want but I've never need to myself.

Ya, how much are "taxes and fees?"
If I top up my account online I have zero taxes or fees added on top. Depending where or how you buy the card, you may pay taxes when buying the cards.

I just asked customer service for an estimate of fees and taxes and they said it would be $30 to $35 per month.
I contacted AT&T again because the numbers didn't make sense for me either. This rep gave me a different, and more reasonable answer. Taxes and fees vary per area but are usually around $4 to $6 per month. I was quoted $5 for central Texas. They also mentioned that data overages are reduced to 2G speeds but you have the option to add an additional 3 GBs of data for $20.

And what happens seconf year ...? Pay another $300 up front or what ?
Looks like you have to renew on the 360th day. Probably with your stored payment.

I went through the check-out process until the payment section. I am only being charged $0.30 tax on the $305 (+ sim card). The price appears all-inclusive, no additional tax/fees.

I can only check out with a single yearly plan. Is there a way to get this cheaper with multiple lines?

I like these plans and pricing for sure. Only downside I've found are you don't get any Mexico or Canada talk text or data roaming and you CANNOT add any of the other international data packages to these plans. You also can't use WIFI calling which I really need at home. If they had these features I'd be in in a heartbeat.

I might be the only one not getting it but is this 8gb for the entire year or is it 8gb/month?

This is directly from the terms and conditions:

Other monthly charges: Apply per line and may include taxes, federal and state universal service charges, Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge (up to $1.25), gross receipts surcharge, Administrative Fee, and other government assessments which are not government-required charges. Additional one-time charges may apply. See att.com/additionalcharges for more details on other charges for your area. In some areas, discretionary fees, taxes, or charges such as E911 fees will be debited from your AT&T PREPAID account balance as the law allows.

I believe at&t prepaid has wifi calling and VOLTE now and this plan also includes unlimited calling/messaging in and between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada (Click on "read the legal stuff").

You can port out to Tmobile (buy esim on ebay for $1-$2), then transfer back.

Port out to H2O and come back again. You still have another 2 months time for this
