With that said if I was strictly looking at how long it would take to pay for itself by doing my own oil changes and brake services then I would not have purchased the Quickjack as I would struggle to justify it. I do use it for oil changes, brakes and other routine services and the quickjack just can't be beat unless you have the ability to install a regular 2 or 4 post lift.
Where the Quickjack really pays off is when I am doing something and I need to get all four wheels off the ground. I can do it in about 3 or 4 minutes with the Quickjack where jacking the car one corner at a time takes me a good 30 minutes. Also, when I have the vehicle on the Quickjack I can raise and lower the vehicle in just a matter of seconds to make it easier to work from underneath or from above. I feel as if the vehicle on the QuickJack is much more stable than on jackstands and I have no hesitation getting under the vehicle when the Quickjack is in its locked position.
I recently had to replace the electronic water pump in my BMW 335i and the Quickjack simply made getting the car up in the air so much easier and higher than I could have using 4 jack stands. For those that are on the fence and can afford it you won't be disappointed.

Are you under 7k? I know my dually is heavier, but from what I've seen some of the newer half tons have curb weights over 6k.
They make a 12v version which is the one I want, so this deal is a no go for me
