Things I actually read...

1989 - "The Sega Genesis has 320 x 224 resolution. That's the maximum resolution a video game system can attain. There's no need for anything higher."

1999 - "A 1MP digital camera is high enough resolution to print film photograph quality posters. "

2009 - "Who's gonna pay an extra $30 a month so they can have Internet on their cell phones?"

And here we are... too much very rarely is too much.

I just got a 4k Lenovo c930... And yeah, 4k is totally over kill for suck a small screen. 2k is good tho, so I set my scaling to 2x. Still pretty small, but legible. I program on it so need a lot of screen real estate

its only over the top until you get used to it, and you want the next big thing.
come on now. SDers never complain about over the top or too much on electronicsApplause

this laptop or the XPS 13?
any tech nerds offer some opinion.

need to run 2 monitors. light gaming. mostly used for daily trading and excel/word work.
portability and tablet ish function is important.
is XPS worth the 300-500 bump?

Good deal. I just picked up the surface pro 6 with keyboard and pen for $800. This is a better deal for me. Gonna be returning it. Don't need the pen and hardware is better with this. Thanks.
