Great price! I've got the earlier model (titanium) and love it for running. Not necessarily the best quality sound, but having the ears unobstructed is great for hearing traffic noise.
This is a GREAT deal. I owned the Trekz version of this, and then upgrade to the Air, and paid $150! These are great for those who want to listen to music or a podcast while still being able to hear outside noises around them. The sound quality would NOT company to a full headphone that covers the ear, but the point is you can hear the outside as well. I love them for running or hiking in the woods, as I feel safer being able to hear a person coming up or a dog, etc... I also like them for urban areas and in the gym.
The reason they are reduced is that AfterShokz has released their new versions of this product, the Aeropex and Xtrainerz, which retails for $160.
I was just about to pull the trigger for the original gen Titanium at Best Buy for $75. They also get good reviews, but the indications are that the Air fits better.
I have hearing loss, so I'm interested in seeing how well a bone conduction headset works for me (seems I can hear pretty well during the bone conduction portions of my hearing tests.) Hopefully these will also also keep me from startling and jumping out of my skin when someone approaches me unexpectedly, as happens when I'm wearing standard headphones!

Much obliged; looking forward to getting them!
Both my parents are hearing impaired and as long as you have a functioning auditory nerve, like they do, these work great! Enjoy when they arrive!
bought 1 pair - but man I really want to try the aeropex - but NOT for $159...
i tried the aeropex and really like the fact it's IP67 and for someone who sweats a ton during cycling, this would help. also the aeropex felt lighter as compared to others, so when wearing a helmet it fits better IMO. never tried the air before.. but $160 vs $80 so might give it a try. thanks OP

Is there a hearing aid mode or only for calls and music?

Google Shopping has a $20 off for new customers - was able to order through CampSaver.com for $139 with no tax/shipping for the Aeropex. I've been using the Air for 2 years, but I sweat a ton from running and killed the first pair. The warranty is great and they'll just mail you a new pair- but I want to try the new ones.
