Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

because the rep at my local Costco was holding onto all the iPhone stocks without selling them for some stupid reason.
that makes ZERO sense as their commission is based on how many activations they do. YOu have a stupid rep. My guy was, pleased as punch as he had 22 activations yesterday and was hoping they would extend it..

No, the sim cards are tied to the phones. Even simply removing them from the iphone will rupture the space time continuum.

I'm with the read the thread crowd as well. I have read the first 10 and the last 10. I try to be responsive, you know there are limits. And at the end of the day, replying to read the thread takes about the same energy as actually responding.

LMAO I enjoy helping people out but man some of these questions are just ridiculous.
Like the guy that wanted to cancel 2 days after purchasing the phone LMAO

I know what it's like to need a 'fast' answer for some of these deals that you randomly find and don't have much time to search. But for this type of deal, it's not like it's a fast type of deal since you have to find an old iPhone for trade in. So there IS time for them to find info out, they are just lazy.

I'm in the same boat. The way most company ship their packages is they have a sorting facility. So your mail will go to the company main sorting place where they sort inter-office and external mails. Then it will go to the post office the night or two after. which sucks for us...
While I didn't get anything at USPS online tracking last night. My fortune finally changed this morning. The complete tracking history shows as below. There is just one thing that I don't understand, just one thing: I dropped my box in MASSACHUSETTS!!! How could they leave zero trace but jump out at DALLAS TX? BTW, did I remind you the final destination, per the label, is York, PA.? So jump back and forth...

I was about to run to our shipping dept and blame the guy stupidly lost my box. Now I feel the opposite: hey, how handsome that guy look. How could anyone even dare to imagine he would lose someone's box? Nobody but a fool would do that, right?...

Anyway, hope everything turns out right for all of you. Don't be panic if you have similar experience. I suspect the current non-sense shipping may be related to how the postage of the box is going to be paid, but still look stupid to me.

Well I've doing two deals. One that ended on the 7th of October for the 350 dollars off iPhones. This is something that me and corporate are working together on, but they managed to unlock the iPhone. This deal I'm still waiting to get approval for but they should unlock it after Costco fixes my trade in info stuff
How do you get those unlocked (after activation)? And what reasons do you give them (if before 40 days)?

did you happen to ship the phone in a box with one of those battery warnings?
If so, these are known to bounce around the U.S. due to that warning.

If not, it probably just got routed wrong.

No, I know what you meant but I didn't.

I did actually use a shipping box I got from Apple Trade-in Program (I had thought to trade my old 6s to Apple before I saw this deal). That free shipping supply came with a red-color battery hazard warning sign sticker. But I didn't put that sticker on. I also double checked the box itself and made sure there is no other info outside the box. So the routing should solely depend on the prepaid shipping label.
