Did anyone trade in a boost iphone for this deal or the other $700 deal ? I was told that boost mobile IMEI shows as not paid off. One of the terms in this deal is that trade in phone has to be paid off and owned by you.

Anyone had done this successfully with a boost mobile ? I mean trade in verified by assurant and account credit applied for the trade in phone ?

Thanks for any reply.
Many of us traded in Boost Mobile (brand new 6s) and got the bill credit already.

Got bill credits for 2 iPhones..a 6s plus and a 7 plus
Waiting for the rebate

Just a note: for the iPhone 7 Plus there was a change needed to be approved from my side . TMobile didn't called or informed me. I got to know when I inquired about the bill credit about that phone.

So better call their customer care if your phone reached them but you have not got the bill credit after 2 days
what num you called them on? i called 3 times and none of them could help me out with bill credits

how do you know if you got the bill credits?

edit: actually, I see them now that I'm looking at my summary bill, weird, I remember last year you could see them on the account history screen but now you can't. Hate how they keep changing the website, I swear they do it on purpose for obfuscation

Hi pookguy
Can you show me how it shows up in the summary bill?
I checked my account and in the billing section I can only find the November charge and payment but no trade in credit. Thank you

it basically shows the partial trade in credit but it has the new line # beside it so should be easy to identify, if you can't find it I'd call in just to be safe

I submitted my rebate on the t-mobile promotions web site last night. This morning I checked the rebate status and it says denied due to "ineligible device on receipt," which is b.s. because my Costco receipt shows that I purchased an iPhone 11. I called up the promotions department and the guy said the receipt looks good but they can't override the status until 30 days after the promotion has started. It started on 11/1 so I should call back on 12/1. Anyone else run into this problem?
My rebate status is still "denied." They received my trade-in and already credited my account for the trade-in amount. Someone else said they were told their rebate status would change after Assurant receives the trade-in so this is not true.

I called the promotions department today and asked them to fix the rebate status. Now they say they still can't change the rebate status and that I have to call back on 12/22. Arghh.

For them to manually do anything, it should have crossed 30days, from your rebate submit date.

Promotion center suggested to resubmit rebate, since they can't see the images of IMEI or Costco Bill on there side.

Status update:

Nov 22 - shipped all four old phones
Nov 24 - USPS showed phones delivered
Nov 26 - bill credit received for 2 of the 4 phones

Dec 1 - call tmobile, rep says the other 2 phones have to have an adjusted credit manually accepted (apparently the wireless advocate rep at Costco put those 2 phones as 'Apple-Generic' but one was AT&T and one was T-mobile). He got those manually accepted and I should have the final 2 bill credits.

Will update when I receive virtual rebate cards.

Good luck all.

I went back to the original Costco and had the kiosk rep talk to the Wireless Advocate customer support number. The WA rep said everything was fine and provided the steps for processing the return, which included needing proof that we had paid the phone off through the carrier. That took some time to gather all the info and then by the end of it the kiosk rep was saying that because we had paid off the phone through the carrier, that I would have to get my money back from them, and they could only refund the taxes that I paid up front at Costco. I argued how that obviously made no sense because the WA rep had just said on the phone that I needed proof of having paid the phone off through the carrier, but she still wouldn't budge.

I ended up going to another Costco. They called up the original store because they wanted us to do the return through them (when she later talked to the WA rep, she asked if doing the return at her store would hurt her numbers). When the new Costco rep talked to the original rep, she immediately changed her tune and said that she never denied the return, so obviously trying to cover her tracks so she wouldn't get in trouble. After all that and talking to WA again in the store so the associate could follow the correct procedure, I was able to return fairly easily. Still waiting on the check to come in the mail currently.

TLDR:
Yes, I was able to get Costco to process the return. I had to go to another store because the original kiosk rep absolutely refused to process it in the hopes that the 90 days would expire or I would give up and her numbers would not be hurt.
Which Costco is this?

Had to manually process all three phones traded as verizon/xfinity into generic. So annoying this isn't just done automatically.

I purchased 4 green iphone 11. all the rebates are denied mentioning "not eligible device on receipt". My 6s Trade-ins are processed and received bill credits as well. People posted similar issue with purple color but i guess its the same with all new colors.

Did anyone here purchased GREEN iphone and the rebates are not denied?

Thank you.

I ran into the problem as well. I bought 3 iPhone, one 11 pro and 2 11 purple. One was accepted ( the pro) while the 2 11 purple was denied. Call the promotion phone line and they told me the recipe look good and call back early December. The T-Mobile rep told me everything look good and they should be able to manually process the rebate in early December.
what is the promotion phone line?
