it's 10-15% weaker than the GTX 1060 3gb which is another 10% weaker than the 6gb variant

The PDF specs says:
"16GB max / 2666MHz DDR4, dual-channel capable, two DDR4 SO-DIMM sockets"...

It's definitely a solid deal with a marginally dimmer screen than either of these (but srgb 100% and 4k), 16gb of fast dual channel ram, a 512 gb ssd, a i7- 8550u, and a GTX 1050. The graphics card and cpu combo throttle heavily unless you due some tweaking in Throttlestop.
With the right settings, these thin n lights from Lenovo can actually get within 10% or so of the gaming laptop equivalents with the same graphics card. Not bad considering the very thin form factor, utility and solid build, screen and speaker quality. Wonder if these will go any cheaper by BF? Maybe not, and probably not worth waiting to find out and missing out on good deals to try and safe another $50 or so.

My question is... what makes this one as a budget and X1E as luxury model except the price? The spec and even weight seems to be the same.
