Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I just got mine from Amazon 3rd party (prime) seller for $180. Probably not the cheapest option but guaranteed delivery by Tuesday in time for this offer, plus it makes a brand new iPhone 11 only $180 which is pretty slick in my book.
Can you please share the Amazon link from which you bought?

I dont have a trade and need two new lines and two new phones. I was leaning towards iPhone 8 or 8 plus, but after reading all the threads I dont know if I should go with Tmobile or another carrier.

Is it possible to retrieve the previous thread? Or at least the Wiki? Answers so many questions.

One thing I just noticed that I didnt see last time was that the credit is a virtual card and expires in 6mos. Thats a significant factor. How difficult is this to set up to use with Apple Pay or Venmo?
Not sure about the card expiring in 6 months... but who has trouble spending around $700 in 6 months. We go through that in a few weeks.

Am I missing something?

What is the cheapest plan to get a new line for?

Am I correct in assuming you could get the cheapest new plan for x months until you receive the mastercard, and then cancel the new line?
Believe it or not, T-Mobile actually publishes their plans with prices right on the Internet: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans

Yes, you can cancel after you've received your rebate.

Phone needs 40 days active service before they'll unlock, but you're likely not getting the rebate that fast so it's moot.

It's this [amazon.com] one ($185) although keep in mind the delivery now might be Wednesday which is the last day of the promotion.

edit: the seller Hybrid IT (which for me was the $185 one) already shipped mine (Fedex) so maybe it will arrive early
edit: removed one option as it was sold out

Do t-mobile iPhones from Costco work on other networks? I know in the past the TMobile phones didn't work on Verizon even when they were unlocked.

Is this new line activations or activating at the store itself? I'm thinking of trading in my iPhone XR for the 11 but don't want to add a line.
You realize the promo specifically says "with new line activation", right?

Do you think they aren't going to require adding a new line?

Years ago there was some stuff about about GSM/CDMA limited iPhones but all newer iPhones don't have that issue and will work on any of the major carriers as long as it's fully unlocked.

I read through most of this thread but wanted to confirm.
I would like to get a new iPhone and have an old iPhone 6+ I can trade in. Am I correct to assume I can trade that phone in (possibly) towards a new iPhone and start a new cheapest line available, then cancel that line once I received the rebate? Which mean my cost is minimal in terms of dollar spent and trading that iPhone 6+ in to upgrade to one of the newer iPhone? Thank you in advance.
Read the promo: https://membershipwireless.com/tmobile-iphone

Lowest phone listed is the 6s.

Your 6 Plus is not included.
