Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Went back the next day and when the manager saw I was adding 4 lines to my account he told the rep to make it happen. I even had to show the rep how to do it on his iPad to apply all the discounts LMAO They learned from that promo and started requiring 6 mos of service with the new lines etc. Many had $1000s of credit on their accounts after that one.
I think I remember that thread and couldn't get in on it because I wasn't a verizon customer.
I had att at the time and another tmobile account.
I think this was during the time that both att and tmobile were doing the crazy blackberry trade in deals.
I bought so many bb's on Ebay for CHEAP.
And just as you said, even the manager was happy to see me, would trade them and buy a bunch of overpriced beats products for cheap LMAO

Got a bunch of iPhones as well and iPads for the family.
I miss those days Cool

I just tried to submit my rebate on Tmobile/promotions. It said my device is not eligible for the promotion. I called Tmobile, the rep said their website is having issues and they are working on to upload all of the IMEI numbers. Is anyone having the same issue? did you submit your rebate successfully? I getting irritated it by this...

I bought 4 new phones yesterday. Costco rep signed me up for Magenta Plus $170 for 4 lines. Should I change it to Magenta now without loosing this $700 rebate?
The promotion website is saying my IMEI is not eligible for this offer and t-mobile says they are aware of this issue and working on it to resolve. Does anyone has any experience like me?

My online rebate submission in Tmobile promotions site failed saying this IMEI is not eligible for the promotion. I called Tmobile and the rep said, first step for promotion submission is to mail the trade in phone. Once the warehouse receives it, we will get a text confirming it and then the new phones IMEI will be registered in their system for the online submission. I really don't know if that is the reason for this issue. Just thought of sharing.

I just purchased the pro. Rep stated it qualified and I got a trade in quote. 64gb only sadly. Stock is running low. I would advise doing it ASAP
Is 11 pro eligible for this promotion? I got one pro today and rep at kiosk generated label without any issues. After reaching home I saw promotion again and observed pro is not available there and planning to return it. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming I can jump in and do this deal even if I'm not a current T-mobile customer? Start a family Magenta plan for 4 lines, and trade in to get 4 phones? Is there any contract at all associated with it?

Add a new line with their new plan isn't cheap. You pay much more when you have to pay your original Simple Choice plan + Magenta plan.

We are on Simple choice family plan. There is no good deal for us right now.
I went to costco but they did not say that simple choice plan is excluded. I have not seen it in the link posted by OP. Can someone please confirm whether simple choice plan is eligible for this offer or not?

this is the first time i heard this. it looks the rebate procedure changed quite a lot, if you trust what the rep said
