Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

I went to costco but they did not say that simple choice plan is excluded. I have not seen it in the link posted by OP. Can someone please confirm whether simple choice plan is eligible for this offer or not?

At what time do I have to activate TMobile service?

At time of purchase in Costco?

Before 11/27 but on my own time after purchase?

Any time in the next 30 days?

My online rebate submission in Tmobile promotions site failed saying this IMEI is not eligible for the promotion. I called Tmobile and the rep said, first step for promotion submission is to mail the trade in phone. Once the warehouse receives it, we will get a text confirming it and then the new phones IMEI will be registered in their system for the online submission. I really don't know if that is the reason for this issue. Just thought of sharing.
First time hearing this and informative but I'll wait a bit. Can anyone explain how they would match up the IMEI of the trade-in phone to the purchased iphone 11 account holder just through the mailing?

My mailing (and assuming like many others) is more of a rebate with a RMA # attached (by ASSURANT insurance) detailing the trade-in device. The rep told me the rebate company (assurant) will handle of the communication with T-mobile.

Rep told me just had be postpaid. SC plans are excluded from the T-Mobile variant of this deal, so I think that is why everyone is saying that it's excluded at Costco too.

At time of purchase; they will need to process the new line, new device, and trade-in device in the same visit.

It clearly states on the ad at Costco which plans are eligible for this deal and Simple Choice is not one of them. Wireless Advocates reps are not the ones who process these rebates, do not believe the words out of their mouths unless you have it written on your contract.

My trade in phone is 128GB and Rose gold. I incorrectly registered as black 32GB. IMEI was correct though. Is this going to be a problem? How do I fix this?

It shouldn't cause your rebate to be denied, but it would cause a snag. If you want to fix it before coming in, just go back to your Costco and have them re-process your trade-in correctly.

If we don't port the number and don't care about number do we need to do anything else before sending it for trade in? Will the service just expire after month and cancel itself? There will be no issue with trade in?
No issues with Trade-In, as they are just interested in the Phone with Good Condition and iCloud is Unlocked (they even dont bother if the phone is locked to carrier).

If the SIM isPrepaid sim, automatically it will get disconnected after "x" days of not recharging the service.
If the SIM is postpaid, then recommed to call the Customer care and get the account closed.

Costco wireless associate told me that I need to maintain the new line for at least 6 months before I cancel the line. Can anyone confirm?
Same here. As a lot of ppl here said, there isn't any such requirement in the contract. My best guess is that the rep was only trying to drive ppl (that are trying to abuse the promotion) away.
Only that you needed to maintain the lines for 90 days so that Costco membership wireless won't ban you in future.
