Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

has anyone attempted to submit the REBATE yet?

the discount code does not seem to work.
imei is invalid....

has anyone tried?
Have you shipped your trade-in device already? I just spoke to the customer care. They mentioned that you need to ship your tradein phone first ( STEP 2 ) in the document that you received and then try step 3.

Haven't seen this one get answered yet. If they only have the 64 gb in stock, is there any chance to exchange for a 128 gb or higher when they get more like in 2-3 weeks for example? Or would that mess up the rebate?

What was the pin that you gave them? I'm on ATT prepaid as well and they told me that they don't do pins anymore but T-mobile wants it along with the account #. Thank you!
AT&T prepaid does not show account number when you log into your account online [paygonline.com]
However, you can set PIN in your account online.
When port in your number(s), tell the rep to get your actual account number(s) via AT&T website and use it along with your PIN to port in.
Make sure the rep use correct account number for each of your prepaid phone numbers.

Once the rep initiates the trade in, it asks for the imei, Rep puts the imei and the details of the phone and usually says it's good to go.

What's the site you used? I will check my boost imei numbers

There are 4 questions, lcd free of any defects, water damage, find my iPhone off and I forgot the other one.

I'm not sure how strict Assurant is.

Best bet to buy a cheap 7. You will spend $ up front but will get $200 more since they give $700 in rebates.

And you won't risk a $500 rebate for that 6s plus.
The last one is phone should not be blacklisted; mine is not.

I know it is difficult for anyone to guess how strict Assurant will be but thought of asking the community regardless as technically my phones pass all 4 criteria listed out.

HI.

I got the 580 deal last week. I was doing the steps to redeem the offer and trade in iPhone 6s.
I get an error saying device is not eligible. Did anyone get that as well?

Here is what the Costco rep said, we have to keep the account active for 6 months, if we do not, then TMobile will charge the amount of card that was sent out, and we will not be able to open a new account with Costco anymore. Costco will ban us it seems. How legit is this info ? I already have a TMobile account and this rep said he can't open a new account. I have to get it opened at TMobile and he will be able to add lines to it.

Pretty accurate, they can ban you. It has happened. I let my previous lines go for 90-100 day's.

Would be nice if a wireless advocate who works at Costco would give us some info regarding 90 days and 6 months. Do you guys lose commission if they are canceled prior to 6 months? I am willing to leave my lines open for that long just so they won't lose a commission. These deals are great and at $20 a line, it is still worth it to stick with them for 6 months.

Need to inspect daughter's phone. What happens if it does not pass the return requirements after being sent in?

Do you get the phone back but no refund?
Do you get a partial refund?
You don't get it back or a partial for this very reason it pains me to say that I think anyone with a beefy trade (8or higher) should just keep it and don't do it. If u google this issue it comes up for days on how they do this and no one cares. The phone rep or store rep can't help you
