Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Again, for anyone having trouble submitting the rebates. T-mobile is aware of the issue with this and is working on a solution. They said to try again in a week. It has nothing to do with not sending in the old phone, I submitted 2 other promos for the 580 last week and you don't need to mail in the phone before you submit for the rebate on line.

Pretty accurate, they can ban you. It has happened. I let my previous lines go for 90-100 day's.
You mean we have to hold the lines active for 6 months or 3 months would do ?

Phone number was ported from Ebay. Snagged an AT&T number there and ported about an hour later at Boost location. Brand new phones for 49.99 w/ 1 month paid as long as it is a port is what they stated.
They gave you a brand new iphone 7 for that price and let you off the hook after a month?

I just talked to the rep of T-mobile promotion team, and I am told to wait for a couple of days to let the system recognize the promo as the code is quite new on their system. Also, she added that she put the note on my account that I was trying to register the promotion, so they can know it is not my bad once the thing goes wrong way.
If you want to make sure, just make a call to 877-470-3619. They will help.
I've called multiple times and spoke with the rep and their supervisor. If they're telling you that the promotion is not active yet resulting in this error, that's BS. The issue is clearly with some color variants of the device, not the promotion. You can successfully submit rebate for iPhone11 BLACK 64GB. It's the purple color iPhone11 and I saw some notes in this thread that iPhone Pro Space Gray also has same issue.

The reps don't know nothing. I cross questioned them and they're like... let me see again. Heck, they didn't even know the promo details when I spoke with them.

Unless they fix the issue for these color variants, rebate is a big risk!![/QUOTE]
Thank you!! Finally someone that sees that they're gambling more then it should be a purchase. I got all purples and none of them come up. Wait more wait more. By then u paid 3-5 months for rebate Nd that's if they don't steal ur phone! Rep!!!

But he's saying they said 180 days, not 90-100 days. So you're risking it?

Are people holding on to their phones until this IMEI issue is fixed? I got an Iphone 11 128gb in black with the same error as other people here "The device IMEI entered is not eligible for this promotion, please re-enter or contact 1-877-470-3619 for details.".

I have my Iphone 7 all packed and ready to be shipped, just not sure if I should hold off until the IMEI is recognized by t-mobile? I read in previous comments someone said that a t-mobile rep told them that the IMEI will only be recognized once we ship the Iphone? So confused. Argh

Do they check that the IMEI will work before or after paying for the phone?

I just got a boost phone and don't want to pay just to have the IMEI denied.

anyone know if cancelling the line after rebate issual would cause issues ? Like, device getting locked to T-mobile or card getting charged in full or so?
I am not planning to stay with Tmobile and just wanted to avail this offer by staying with them until the rebate gets processed.

After paying for the phone, then they enter in rebate information after a line is established.
