Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Why are so many stuck on two year rebate? I've been with T-Mobile for 15+ years! Still haven't found a cheaper plan for 5, and with easily the best international options.
I just ported over from Verizon. Call quality is terrible in buildings compared to Vwz, and internet loads much slower. I'm probably switching back in 3 months... this is in major cities in CA too..

My point is has anybody tried paying off the phone through T-Mobile before the 24months are up. Just maybe they'll give you the remainder of the rebate as soon as you do, since they would've if you paid for it in full from the beginning

What plan is it? The plans I see are nothing that low for 2 lines. Most everything is geared for at least 4 lines.

Is the rebate error limited to: Pro / Max Space Gray 64/256gb, Black 128gb, Purple 64/128gb?

Has anyone managed to successfully submit with Pro/Max Gold or any of the Green models?

Thanks!

Those getting imie number not valid- you are probably putting the imie of old phone. It's the new iPhone imei which needs to be put in promotions website
Did you submit yours successfully? Nobody used old phone IMEIs to submit.

Because some people don't have 4-5 people to add to the plan and may not live in an area where TM service is great and/or need international options. Sounds like its a good fit for you though.

Hi
Yesterday I went to trade in my iPhone 7 locked to boost device..Costco guy said it should be unlocked..Are locked phone eligible or not??
Or I should take a risk giving a locked phone and check whether the trade in comes or not

Masking and upload is too much work... but the two pages I mentioned has "T-Mobile" printed on the upper left corner. The RMA number is printed on the page with title "device recovery terms". You should have got it because both these two pages need to be electronically signed and dated. ( Costco rep might have electronically signed for you without telling you anything.)
Thank you for the info.!
Looks like I did not get either of them. I'll call T-Mobile then.

This is quite stupid craziness I would say. T Mobile has the worst coverage and service. Most of the costco have very little inventory of Iphone 11s - and no pro or pro max. Even Iphone 11 is largely 64GB. Whoever got on the deal till now- great for them. Otherwise no point wasting money trekking to costco and waiting there for this.
Like all deals, it's great for some and not so great for others.

Where we live and use our phones, T-Mobile's coverage/service is great. It's time for my wife to upgrade he old iphone8 and she has zero interest in a pro or max, and she has zero need for anything more than the base 64GB capacity.

IMEI issue update, i was talking to Tmobile support and he mentioned that right now they have been told to ask us to wait for 7 days before they give us next direction. When I asked if there is an alternate way to submit the rebate he said yes there is but that can be done only after 30 days. When I said i have only 14 days to return the phone to costco he said plz keep trying to submit and we will give you timeline by next week the new timeline when this will be fixed, if not fixed already. That means they dont know if the issue will be fixed this week. Being from IT i dont think any client facing prod issue takes so much time to fix and there is no alternative backend process to get submission done. My 14 days expires on next Sat, not sending my old phone and going back to Costco next Friday to return if this issue is not fixed by then.

It's very strange that the Imei's were not added or will be added...I'm not sure how easy it is for them to keep track of all these Imei's. I don't think wireless advocates in the IT department know what to do.
What's strange is that this whole 'Imei isn't in the system' started once the purple iPhone 11 became available late during the $580 promo.

you don't have to ask them unnecessary questions.
Just hand them your iPhone once they ask to see your trade in device.

I hope you didn't ask "so when can I cancel"
