Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

They usually help the customer out but it's just another headache you will have to face.
The rep had to initiate the trade in.

So currently there is no record of you doing a trade in. This could hurt you because when you contact Tmobile about it, there will be no record of it.

And, yes, I agree, some reps are really clueless.
I went during the $580 promo and there was a worker who literally just started working that morning at the kiosk. I told them I'd come back another time since I had an important meeting to go to.
I had similar issue, i was told i will get label after i submit for rebates, but i didn't. Called T-Mobile, went to Costco multiple time, no help. Costco rep called T-mobile rep, according to them, it should show somewhere on my account. Later went to T-Mobile store and discovered, no details of Trade-In phone was entered during activation, hence we were not finding the label. Some of the Costco reps are not aware of the process, they need to enter IMEI number of trade-in phone while activating.

for a reprint, they will give you a regular sheet of paper, which I do not think is valid.
I think I had to get a copy of the receipt because the idiot person that checks your receipt drew a big line over the transaction id.

Costco eventually accepted the original receipt.
She asked me if the reprint has Costco warehouse #, transaction date and item description & price. And said it's ok to use.

There is no way they don't have some form of this promotion during the 2 biggest shopping days of the year.
I don't know... Wouldn't they be advertising it ahead of time like other merchants? It's late Tuesday. Any buzz they'll try to create in the last second will likely get drowned in the holiday madness with so little lead-up time.

I think that code is for $580 GC. You should be using COSTCOAPPLENOV for $700 GC

I'm in the same situation.
Does Costco accept return over 14 days?
I guess that I'll return the phones too in this case, the Costco employees are well under-trained, took me tons of hours and figured out nothing.
They should be able to add the trade-in phone details and provide you the label. I was in same situation, later she was able to add the details and gave label.

Where do we need to include the receipt? Part of sending the trade-in phones? How do we do that if we bought multiple on same txn. Appreciate your help!
