-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Only thing is he did say the line has to be open for 6 months, otherwise T-Mobile charges you back the value of the prepaid card, whatever that value may be. I don't know if that's true or not, but I know it's been discussed at length here. He might have just been saying that to make sure he didn't get charged back for his commission. Even if that was a lie, I can sort of see where they would be coming from- Costco and T-Mobile aren't exactly doing the sales reps any favors (or helping them to make any commission off the deal) by making it so easy for people to take advantage of this offer and then cancel their lines as soon as they receive the gift card. I will probably just keep my line open until at least 6 months anyway, just in case, and to help him out.
I'm personally going to use the devices I on my account. Somewhat surprised that they allowed 4 lines, but I read in an earlier post that it could be tmobile wanting to show these numbers to merge with sprint quicker. Who knows. Let's see what happens in the future with deals like this from Costco

My question is just about the cost of maintaining the 4 lines for a period of 3 months.
As per attached image here, for Magenta plan, is below cost breakage correct understanding?

2 X $20 (for next two lines) = $40
Total = $160/month for 4 lines.
Is this a correct understanding as per the attached cost/pricing sheet? Please help.
