Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

If item is not in stock, What's the downside of doing the $700 in bill credits. I see it's for 24 months bill credits. Does that mean one cannot cancel the line say after 1 year?
When you go the bill credits route (assuming you don't have to pay a down payment), they charge you for the cost of the phone over 24 months, so for a $700 iPhone 11 64GB, it would be $29.17/month. You'd also get a $700 rebate split over 24 months, netting your monthly cost for the phone to $0. You're allowed to cancel at any moment, but then the remaining balance on the phone becomes due immediately and you forfeit the rest of the bill credits. So if you wanted to cancel after half a year, you'd owe 3/4 of $700, if you canceled after a year, you'd owe $350 on the phone, etc. Effectively, if you wanted a free phone, you'd be stuck on a 2 year "contract".

what was difficult this Time around?

all depends on the rep that you get.
There have been experiences in these iPhone 11 and iPhone XR threads that a few amount of people have been refused by wireless advocates. Some of those reps even went as far to speaking with higher management who then banned them from Costco.

Personally, I will keep my lines open for the full 6 months. It's only $20 - $25 per month per line but at least it is somewhat of a guarantee that I can do future promotions.

Don't forget, the rep can scan your card and see EVERY single transaction that you have done at ANY costco wireless kiosk. Back in the XR deal, I had one VERY rude rep. Scanned my card and all of my transactions popped up, details of the phone I purchased and date.
what card did they scan? credit card or costco membership card?

Does any body know if my family used $580 promotion last month for 4 lines then can we add 2 or 3 more lines with this new $700 promotion with same tmobile account?

I am confused because it says limit of 4 per account. But not sure if that limit of 4 is per offer or 4 for total of all offers combined for my tmobile account.

Please suggest.
On the magenta plan, you will end up paying $20/month for three to eight lines. This offer makes T-mobile lose money, since you pay $480 for 24 months, and the phone costs more than that.

On a new account, 4 lines can make some money for T-mobile: $140 *24 = $3360 > $650 * 4

We activated 5 lines instead of the mentioned 4. Will all the 5 lines get the credit or only 4 lines will get the credit.

Thanks for this information. I guess it's not worth to pay them another $70 for $10 Netflix.

My $580 rebate status (from 11/2 purchase) just changed to 'Approved'. Still waiting for my text msg with details.
1 of my trade-ins was a Boost 6s+ "This device has not reached financial eligibility.", so that may help with a few questions others have been asking.
Do you know the order of the rebate status's, mine one is in received and other is in pending

So what's the point?
Would I be able to get this promotion or not?
Or you are saying I should not go with this promotion to save tmobile money?

The systems were down too in Houston. Its not Tmobile only it seems but Wireless Advocates portal.
Was there any stock in Houston? I called earlier this morning and three stores said they had nothing.

I experienced technical issues when attempting this deal today in the Dallas area. All my nearby stores were out of stock so I settled on getting the refund in bill credits. Everything was going smoothly but when the rep was finalizing all the paperwork, he apparently couldn't get the shipping label to load and of course print. He attempted to call a bunch of people and ultimately told me he had to cancel the EIP and will need me to go in again tomorrow so that he can try everything again.
So now I've added an extra line but no new phone ordered or EIP set up. I'm going to try again tomorrow but these kiosk reps are probably some of the rudest and most misinformed customer service reps I've ever encountered from any company. Props to those that jumped on this early and have successfully gotten their rebates from the previous $580 deal... I will be sharing this feedback with all parties involved (Costco, Wireless Advocates and T-Mobile).

Fill out rebate form > waiting to process form > rebate form completed/verified > rebate card issued > text message with redeem link sent

Thanks. I was just wondering about the status change since mine became received yesterday.
