Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

I know locked is fine.. But I am confused with "It is active on another AT&T account"
Then you don't need to use that unlock request page. Ignore it. You don't see it. Just send the phone in for trade-in. Why bother with unlock request and wonder on something that you shouldn't be participated in?

I am on Simplechoice plan with 6 lines and i know its not eligible for this costco t mobile promotion.. Can someone share advantages of sticking with Simplechoice plan? Thanks in advance.
Leave that Simple Choice account alone. Open a completely new account for this promotion. If you want to stick with your old account, you will need to upgrade your whole account to their newer, more expensive plans.

Yes, you will need to pay for both accounts at the same time, until you get your rebates. But you won't have any other choices.

Update for anyone wondering about the trade in process- I sent 4 iPhone 7 32GB separately boxed, each with just its own slip and shipping label (printed by wireless rep at Costco) just like the instructions said.

Started service on Sunday, the 24th
Mailed 4 phones on Wednesday, the 27th
Phones reached destination on Saturday, the 30th
Received trade-in credit for 2 phones on Monday, the 2nd
Panicked for two days
Received credit for 2 remaining phones on Wednesday, the 4th

I got a text when two of my phone credits were applied but my bill on the T-Mobile website/app eventually showed all 4 $59 credits (as "Adjustments").

My phones were all in good shape- one had light surface scratches on the screen and another had a replacement screen. It was a refurbished original Apple screen that was $50 on eBay. I think third parties buy screens with cracked digitizers and just replace that. It also had a tiny chip in the aluminum around the edge of the screen but it didn't affect anything. Everything else and the other two phones were mint.

i am not bothering about unlock...
Some people say if it is active on another AT&T account then it will be considered as BAD ESN so i am veryfying with you guys if that is really possible... because it will make me ineligible for rebate if it is bad esn..isn't it

Guys..Is there any one who did not receive first credit message after the phone was delivered more than a week ago?

We did not get it yet for previous 580 rebate offer so little worried what to do
I contacted TMO for the same, T-Mobile rep told me, it may take upto 10 days to process after its delivered. Call T-mobile if you do not hear from them after 10 days.

Read the details in the paperwork they gave you. You are giving up ownership of the device. It will not be returned. There's an exception but good luck with that.
Thanks that's a good point. Out of curiosity did anyone just return this deal back to Costco? Ugh all that trouble for nothing. I'm not willing to take a $700 gamble for a perfectly functional iPhone 7.

What if instead of cancelling the new line I cancel one of my old line after 3 months Will that work?
Just make sure that the old line is not part of a multi-line promotion on your account. If so you could end up being in for quite a shock on your next bill. I made this type of mistake once and it took T-Force to reverse everything and hours on the phone.

I heard from a T-mobile store employee today that a new promotion will activate tomorrow though Costco effectively extending this offer. Any other confirmations of this?

That's good to hear. I also mailed in 4 phones that reached on 11/30 (per USPS tracking). I have not got any credits yet, but will be patient. I'm guessing they have a large volume of trade-in's to process.

I just finished my $580 rebate from 11/2. I now have my rebate cards and am cashing them out.

1 of my trade-ins was a Boost 6s+ that showed the 'not reached financially eligibility".

of course YMMV until a few more people chime in on their results.
Okay. It may be 100%YMMV. I will try if they extend the promo again. Thanks.

When I go here, it says the deal expired on 12/5:
https://membershipwireless.com/offers

But then when you click on the offer details, it goes to the old deal that expired 11/20:
https://membershipwireless.com/tmobile-iphone

I think they need to update Smilie

My Costco rep said that TMobile suppliers basically told them they are not going to send them any phones until this promo expires and there is very little chance that it gets extended. For whatever that's worth !

Anyone?
I had to wait for 2 hours or more at Costco to do this deal - so, why not go to T-mobile store? Is it line add fee? iphone 11 is 700 both in costco and at t-mobile
