Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

OK, I hope my DP will help to answer some of your questions:
1. Multiple lines (5) submit difference times, mailed in trades, etc... between 11/26-12/15
2. YOUR email of receiving the trade credit is VERY important = it showed that they are receiving the trade via USPS mail and they accept the trade ( credit for xx amount ) .IMO this is very important .
3. The web site will update from received , pending , bla bla ... This is mean nothing until you get the button "Redeem card" ...if you submit and receive a "denied" : Call 611 on your TMO phone, ask to follow up, NO status will change unless you call and follow up.
4. In my case, the CSA is resolve -ALL of 4 of my submission- and resubmit them all to Pending state, after few day, I got "redeem card".
5. The card can be virtual, physical, or whatever you want, once you login to the website to -redeem card" . For me, I just transfer them all to my bank... how simple is that.
6. Now you can wait for 41 days (from activation) and request to have phone unlock. Wait for confirm.
7. Your can keep the Tmo, down grade the lines, or move to whatever ISP you want.

HTH, Tan
Re: 2. YOUR email of receiving the trade credit is VERY important ...
Why? Isn't receiving the statement credit(s) be sufficient (for the proof that Assurant received, inspected and approved my trade-ins)?

I got the statement credits for the trade-in iphone 7 and 6s, but never received a single email w.r.t. the statement credit, nor any notification of Assurant on receiving my trade-ins.

My status is shipped trade in phones, got bill credits for all 4 phones. Online status say "Received."
I called tmobile promotions after receiving 4 of these text messages. They noticed that on my account, all rebetes were linked to the same one primary phone number. Turns out since I had used my one primary number as the contact number for all 4 rebates, it used that same number as the phone line associated with the rebate even though for each submission, i specifically chose a different phone line. The rep stated that it was a server error but now we have to wait until they deny the remaining 3 rebates and resubmit. They have fixed the problem on the website for future submissions, but really poorly written software to make such an egregious error. The system overwrote the chosen phone line with the contact number. I'm just disappointed with this whole process and the number of places that they have incorrectly handled the processing. I hope they resolve this and I can get my rebate.
I did the same as well, looks like I will need to call in to see if my account is affected or if I submitted after the problem was fixed.

I did exactly what you did and received credit msgs on the same number already. Looks like I may need to call them to fix the underlying issue. Confused

I spoke to a rep about 2 weeks ago and it seems that this is an error that they know about. The rep I spoke with said that I did not have to resubmit the rebate but still needed for them to be rejected. Once they are rejected then she will manually go in and issue the rebate the same day without having to wait. She set a follow up call the beginning of January since this is when she thinks it will be processed. I would call them and just make them aware so that they can take care of you once it's rejected.

Did you select the same phone number at Choose the phone number you would like to send the virtual card to. You will receive... for all four rebates? Or was it somewhere else?
I dont recall the exact wording but that might be it. I wanted all virtual card notifications to be sent to one phone number. Initially, when you create a new submission, it asks to select the phone line for the rebate. For each of my 4 submissions, I had selected a different line. As others have already mentioned, they are aware of the issue and I think we will be fine.

Yea, would be a good idea to call and ask them to check status of rebate. They will tell you then. You can also ask to make sure each rebate has a different phone line linked to it. If your account is also affected, at least they can make a note of it in the account logs.

My rep told me the exact same thing except that the rebate would be issued same day. Would be nice if that is the case. Well, glad they are acknowledging the error on their end. They understand that we are not at fault as we followed instructions correctly.

Just received an email stating that there was a Device Credit of $0 for a Boost iPhone 7 that I had used for trade-in (49.99 Buy One Get One Boost Promotion). T-Mobile has already issued the Rebate for the phone and this appears to be from xxxxx although the email states T-Mobile. Edit: This is the T-Mobile credit email and not the one from Assurion. In any case, there's no explanation why the device credit is so, but the phone was brand new, like everyone else who has used Boost and is considered fully paid off by Sprint.

I got both emails for my iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 for physical trade-in credits.
I had to re-submitted for my iPhone 11 Pro again since T-mobile complained my purchase receipt is very blurry and faded so they denied it but they approved iPhone 11 on the same receipt Confused
I DM on tweeter with one of the T-Mobile agent for about 2 hrs but she could not fix it but I had to re-submit my rebate again and they approved it the next day.

Just spoke with T-Moble representative. Apparently, they saw that the "Find my iphone" feature was turned on. Got connected to Customer Service who mentioned that the device credit for the balance would still be fulfilled.

i have not received credit for one out of four iphone 6s. Tried 611 and twitter and they keep on saying it is still being processed. No way to escalate since it has not been denied according to tmobile. I am not able to get a clear answer if my virtual card will still be mailed out even if phone credit is not posted?

Called tmobile rebate center today. This did happen to me as well Mad. All my rebates were linked to my "contact number" which is supposed to receive the rebate cards. However, the rep I spoke to didn't seem to know the history of this issue and suggested me to resubmit the rest of my rebates except the correct one. Not sure if I want to do that since it may cause more confusion to delay the rebate process...

I would just wait until it gets rejected and then give them a call.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

However, the rep I talked to sounded like it was my mistake so it's my responsibility to fix it, which really pissed me off a little bit.

Hate to see T-Mobile made such a stupid mistake and not to fix it promptly. EEK!

Have anyone received the rebate on this promotion?

People reported rebate approx a month after submission on previous similar TMobile costco promotions.
