Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Do we need to do factory reset the iphone before sending it for trade -in ?
Yes. Reported here 1,436 times. And in the instructions.

If you do not remove the icloud lock, it will be rejected.
If you leave your data on the phone... well... you are leaving your data on the phone.

BILL CREDIT vs REBATE CARD

For those with messed up situations, when TM offers a bill credit, it is for the full amount. It is NOT over 24 months. At least that is what they offered me on one lost phone in the past.

Said another way, if you monthly bill is $120 and you have $600 coming to you, that means you will not have to pay a monthly bill at all for 5 months. Not a bad deal.

(unless you are not planning to stay with TM and just looking to get a phone real cheap)

Present status on https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ - Received

Twitter rep status when looked-up Status: No/ineligible device found on the receipt

Looks like they just flipped the status to received to buy some more time. As per the conversation on Twitter DM. They are looking for document where they can see the T-Mobile number and IMEI number.
Wow. I'll have to contact them via Twitter as well. Thanks for the update

Compared with some of the eventful journey posted, I considered myself very lucky.
I have an old iPhone 7 128GB lying around.

- Got iPhone 11 64GB for $629 + tax at Costco (total duration about 2.5 hours) on 12/2
- Mailed in trade-in on 12/2
- Submit online rebate form on 12/2
- USPS delivered trade-in on 12/9
- Received trade-in value $68 as bill credit on 12/12
- Chatted with FB T-Force to unlock the phone on 12/16
- Received rebate card text (but I ignored) on 1/1 9pm
- The rebate tracker status changed to sent, with rebate card value $632 (full $700 rebate even though my phone was less than that) on 1/2
- Initiated ACH on 1/2
- The money showed up in my bank account as pending on 1/3
- Closed account on 1/3 (which is the last day of first month)
- Waiting for ACH to settle

Out of Pocket Cost = $629 phone + $51.89 tax + $70 first month - $700 credit = $50.89

Hopefully this helps some people.
Did you unlock the device?

I have received rebate for 2 phone but did not do rebate for another 2. I had sent 4 phones and submitted the rebate on the same day 12/8. I had to call up to accept the offer from $59 to $54 and those two rebate I did not get it. I have called promotional line and they said to wait till Jan 20. Any other way to get it approved earlier?

You should be grateful you received part of your rebate because you submitted rebate on 12/8.
People submitted before 12/1 haven't got anything.
