just signed up for ACM but when i try to access safari with my ACM credentials it says auth failed. does it take a day or two for it to get access?

If you want higher quality courses look into MOOCS and the like from places like Coursera, Khan, Skillshare, EdX and Stanford portal.

I can't remember, I signed up a while ago. Here's the FAQ [acm.org] page.

1. Go to https://www.oreilly.com/member/login
2. Enter @acm.org
3. Click on "Sign in with single sign-on"
4. Enter your ACM credentials
5. Now you should be signed into the learning center

You can read the books through their website or on their app. You cannot download the ebooks directly. Also you must have an active subscription to access the content.

I am a huge Safari fanboy (Had for about 3 years). This is hands down a must-have imo for anyone in the software industry. A crazy amount of high-quality content that they continue to add to.
