Seems to be 2 M.2 slots and 1 DDR4.

Nope sir
Same here. I don't think they will refund the difference.

It's worth it to me to return it to the store and reorder online.
Also AMD was weird with their naming scheme for mobile processors. The 3500u and 3300u are zen+ not zen 2. The 2500u and 2300u were original zen processors. In the walmart product description it also says "2nd Gen AMD Ryzen 5" which should mean the zen+ 3000 series processors.
Also the people from previous slickdeals link I posted earlier said they received the 3000 series processors.
The actual Zen2 won't be out until 2020 and they'll be 7nm.
Given Intel's issue with 10nm, I wonder if the 7nm will have any production issues.
Again, AMD will best Intel once they come out.

Regardless, they may be more energy efficient due to smaller size, but at 15W (max 30W for short bursts), no laptop can compete long term with desktops for CPU/GPU intensive software. You're better off with a desktop or dedicated GPU laptop.

The previous buy and return accessory was marginally better.
I have the 3200U version, and the Costco HP i5. If the question is power then the HP i5 is better in GPU and CPU is the 10th gen core is better in laptops and it is dual channel.
HP backlit keyboard is better, the Motile is too soft.
Motile M.2 slot one is NVME and the other is SSD. The SSD is occupied and the NVME is the empty. Motile beats the HP is one area that is design, the Motile is thinner and lighter. Feels more premium. The IR camera in the motile is good for Windows hello if your into bio-metrics. The HP has likely better warranty and support, Motile is ?. HP has only one M.2 slot, but is has a room for 2.5 in HDD or SSD.
However, if you do not need a new laptop this year, I'd wait until next year.
1. AMD Renoir will be out and will increase competition.
2. Intel i5-1035G4 and G7 will be 12 months old and will have to come down in price to compete. Maybe the G7 will be favored over the G5 for these low end laptops to compete with AMD.
I'd expect similar prices for low end laptops next BF but with better mobile APUs and dual RAM slots, so IMO best to wait.
The review link posted another SDer says IPS screen.
"The Motile M141/M142 uses the exact same Chi Mei N140HCA-EAC IPS panel as found on the competing Acer Swift 3 SF314 and Asus VivoBook 14"
