Is curved mainly for gaming? Just looking for an ultrawide for productivity.

To me curves are usually very subtle and I don't really notice them. Suppose to be easier on your eyes somehow I think.

According to an amzn review, dead pixels must be side by side if you want to use your warranty ☹️

Fyi, none of the reviews on the Amazon listing are for this monitor. Amazon has such an idiotic way of letting sellers create one listing with totally different products, and combining reviews of these totally unrelated products into that one listing, making it seem like a product like this monitor is well reviewed, even though it doesn't have a single review.

If even one pixel on your AGON or AOC Gaming monitor is dead or "bright," we will send you a replacement monitor - right away.

🤷🏼 ♂️ it's the 2nd review. Maybe they changed their policy or he's lying. Don't shoot the messenger.

Just bought one. I'll update if there is any negatives like flicker in game menus or loading screens or even outside of freesync range.

It looks like this is a brand new monitor that AOC just released.

https://www.anandtech.com/show/15...g-monitors

Great specs but I can't find whether this is Freesync version 1 or 2. Probably 2 since the Freesync range goes from 30-144Hz.

Just a FYI, this monitor is pretty darn curved. 1800 is what I have and the curve is subtle. At 1500, it's going to be more noticeable.

On its website it said the Freesync range was 48-144.

Correction it's 30-144. It must have been updated since I last posted.
