Open Box excellent condition Pixel Slate i5/128gb plus free keyboard and pen

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/goog...Id=6306462

In addition, i see a package that states brand new 256gb with pen and keybaord for $650, though i am pretty sure this is a mistake (as below the package states includes 128gb) but worth trying, perhaps you might get the i7 variant

Pretty sure these were brand new with keyboard and pen for under $500 just a few weeks ago, so pass on open box.....

You are mistaken, the m3 was brand new for $450 not the i5. The i5 at Black Friday was $650. Please check your facts

Sorry it was open box for $486 with all that stuff, and yes it was a I5. Still thumbs down!

And yes, those were only two and I got one of them. So it was a EYMMV, not saying it can't come back but this is the best price available now with the promo of the free pen and keyboard

So get a tiny iPad with half the storage then add in the cost of the pencil and keyboard case. Not to mention that keyboard doesn't even have a track pad which makes for a shitty laptop experience. And that usb-c port on the Air is where?

There's is no 128gb option because it's Apple. So you gotta pay that tax to go to 256gb. Still not an apples to apples comparison because you're losing nearly 2" of screen real estate. Even upgrading to the iPad Pro 11" you're still 1.3" shy. And that one starts at $799 and will jump to $949 for the 265gb version. And we still haven't added in the cost for the keyboard case and pencil. The 12.9" is closer in real estate, but at that price point you might as well get the i5/128gb SP7 with keyboard for $800. Though you still can't charge via the usb-c they finally included. Also keep in mind the iPad pro keyboards don't have a track pad either. Their virtual track pad isn't even worth mentioning.

I won't even bother going into the SP6 because I stopped paying attention at the proprietary magnetic charger. Didn't Apple actually beat Microsoft to using USB-C? Go figure. And now that Microsoft offered usb-c, you still can't charge from it. This is 2019 is it not?

And I didn't even get into battery life on the SP's. Just keep that proprietary magnetic charger handy.

So spot on comparison you did there. The effort shows👍

Hahaha you've made a good point on the magnetic charger. It makes zero sense for Microsoft to be using it.

You forgot that Pixel has 2 USB C ports that allow for passthrough charging of your phone from the tablet.

True true. I'm just throughly posses at Incipio who completely bailed on their tablet case for the Slate, and despite they're moving them now, won't consider bringing it back. Yet another big tablet with no tablet only case. Only the iPad Pro has a slim folio case for its big tablet. With the keyboard case on the Slate it's actually thicker and heavier than my Pixelbook. Needs a simple snap in folio case. Makes me miss my old Samsung Note Pro. You can't even get the simple shell for the Slate.

For anyone - you might want to try ordering this bundle, it states 256gb - if its indeed correct, then you are getting the i7 for $650.

The one you linked before. Was oos earlier, now shows 'check stores' so might be restricted by your location. Says 12/19 pickup, so they are shipping to the store
