Im done with Groupons. I bought restaurant groupons and the waitress didnt know what to do and rejected just because owner is not there. Bought it for oil change and the manager said "something is seriously wrong with my car, he doesn't want to touch it and be responsible for it" both times customer service didn't try to help and I ended up lost my money because I didn't bother.
Most of the time we have tried using local Groupons for restaurants, it doesn't go well. They either give us a hard time, don't know how to process it, or even reject it altogether. Had a couple places even have a 'special menu' you have to use which was just half sized portions from the regular menu lol. While I know that is more an issue with the local restaurants being dumb, the experiences make me pass now unless it is a big name restaurant/business, which rarely, if ever, pop up with deals.

Not sure the restaurant part (might need to call ahead?) But for oil change-Yes, any shop can and should deny the work if they see any suspicious thing from the car like damaged tread on oil pan plug, no oil on dipstick ... Not worth $5-10 LOF.
Anyone know if the limits are hard limits? Thinking about buying truffles for people, if I redeem / gift them directly from the vendor website will I have a problem after trying to redeem 2 Groupons?
Not Groupon specifically (LivingSocial). But I bought local discount for coffee shop gift cards. Got in and they said no, they'd lose money doing that, and instead ginned up a "gift card" where they hole punch when I buy something, and it can't be used with other discounts. Contacted Living Social and all they said was they contacted the manager and said issue was resolved. Lol. Last time I used any of these sites :-/

This is so far from truth.
