Yes. MIDI can be that 5 pin din, USB, or Bluetooth.

"In addition to standard MIDI ports, the ES110 also boasts integrated Bluetooth MIDI, allowing the instrument to communicate with smart devices wirelessly."

My son is getting into this area of music. Can this keyboard be connected to a computer to be used as a workstation? I know it says Bluetooth MIDI, but I didn't know if that is same thing as a MIDI cable (like the keyboards I knew of 100 years ago when I was in a band).

Conventional MIDI in/out only not USB. This will not connect to a computer directly without some sort of USB interface. If he's into digital music production, you may want to look into keyboards geared specifically toward that, i.e. Native Instruments, M-Audio, etc

Most likely no.
I just bought this one from guitar center https://www.guitarcenter.com/Casi...0304677.gc
Comes with the stand and some cashback site has significant twelve percent returns on it.

This is hands-down the best under-$1000 keyboard on the market. It's better than any Roland, Yamaha, or Korg until you get into their $1500 models. Kawaii also makes a stand called the HML-1 that fits this keyboard exactly, and also offers a 3-pedal system called the F-350 that snaps right into the HML-1.

The ONE minor thing to consider is that while it's light, it's fairly tall, standing about 8 inches above any stand it's put on. With high end stands like the QuikLok Z71, which sit pretty tall already, this keyboard ends up sitting much higher than a standard piano. For that reason I recommend a cheaper, shorter stand with this keyboard, or even better the HML-1.

What about the Privia px-s3000

Are there any serious piano players that would recommend this? I'm coming up to 8 years of playing having taken private lessons for most of that time. I'm still rocking an old rickety spinnet. Do not want to purchase a nicer acoustic piano at this time.
