Yes but only because your incoming audio will have to be routed through a speaker or headset setup. You can find a Bluetooth headset will be just as capable for Skype calls. This is amazing for narrating/voice overs (what I use it for), recording podcast audio or singing vocals
The snowball by this same company is really good quality for $40-50
Update:
I believe the below is the better deal since no taxes for me and new with extra warranty. Forget about the game.

You can buy a small can fridge with the money you're saving buying this instead of a new one. I've never seen a New or refurbished version of this mic for this price. Only used and never like new condition. I love this color so much and waited about six months until it went on sale for about $80 new. It is best for recording speaking, but I have used it for recording music as well.

This mic might be great but I don't know that because I purchased a refurbished model. I am a 40 year veteran audio engineer. I purchased this mic for my son who does a youtube webcast and wanted to help him upgrade. The first one we I ordered worked as expected .... for one day then went dead. I returned for it an exact replacement. The second one did not work as expected right from the start. With all gains at max (windows, video editor and microphone) the signal barely moved the input meter and not surprisingly the recorded sound was so low it was not usable."
