At Costco.
$100 lower than BF/December pricing. Comes with a 3 year square trade extended warranty, which brings it to a 5 year warranty, or 7 years total if Costco Citi Visa is used.
Costco will also price match this if you bought within the last 30 days, or 90 days if you haul the TV back in. It's got a great picture, but it's no OLED. That being said it's a nice big TV for around 2 stacks post tax. Free shipping

In same boat.
I would probably go with the LG, lower price aside, the IPS panel is good for gaming. I stood in front of the set for at least 10 minutes in Costco, feeling the picture was satisfactory enough. The extended warranty is also something to consider as an added bonus. As for other comparisons, honesty as a regular guy, I cannot make much out.

Panel industry has been price fixing for ages... China are you listening? We need a knockoff oled...
Not attacking you or anything but how is an IPS panel better for gaming? VA panels like the one on the Sony TV generally have much lower latency compared to IPS panels.
Truth. That said, the IPS is probably better for a TV for TV purposes. Is this really an IPS?
The TV lacks the brightness to pull off HDR. And while it is directly lt and not edge-lit, there's no dimmable zones.
so you might think you'll be able to do HDR or Dolby Vision, but you'll just fooling yourself with this TV.
The TV manufacturers have us all fooled. They told us we needed 4K. So we rushed out to get 4k. And whilebpixel density s only one part of the picture, there's so much more to it.
This is a fine set if you're not expecting to watch HDR movies or play HDR games.
