Was "$34.99", listed "on sale" on line at $17.99. Ringing up at $10.94 in store. Multiple stores in my area have it in stock, and I just bought 2. Smilie

It's small in storage size, but great for older systems or boot drives! $5 Cheaper than the 120gb Wal-Mart that went front page a month ago, and while I realize it doesn't mean a ton, I'd rather from buy a brand I'd heard of. Smilie

This is not actually made by HP. Some Chinese company bought the license for SSDs.

Thanks and reppps for the share. I got a couple, however....

They have abysmal reviews on NewEgg and on Amazon, for a reported very high failure rates in the first few months

Just be aware of it.

This thing is a piece of crap. I had one. It didn't even last a year and died. It would also freeze up every once in a while in my desktop running Windows 10. For $10, it's hard to say it's not worth it, but consider yourself warned! Definitely the worst SSD I have ever used.

SSD below 512gb are placeholders for the OS.. one really needs 1tb as entry level Windows PC (256gb for other os).. which is why that capacity was never mainstream until prices dropped out of the sky and reliability is approaching that of hdd in the medium term.
I disagree. Most people do not need more than the 256GB or 512GB SSDs being offered on most laptops. If it were a decade ago, I would say otherwise, but the biggest reasons people needed storage then were music and photos, both of which are now cloud-based through services like Spotify and Google Photos. If you're gaming or video editing, I could definitely understand it, but the majority of people are just web browsing and installing a few applications here and there.

For the price all your jabber on SSDs are irrelevant. As long as it's faster than a mechanical then is a nice cheap upgrade 😉

^^ this is a ridiculous and overly broad statement given that most data these days resides in the cloud. If you happen to be a data hoarder, then 512GB may not be enough but for most other people it's plenty. Hell, 256GB for most people is plenty even with Windows.

Didn't HP have a massive failure rate on their SSD drives or was that another company?

Not everyone has 100mb or higher broadband considered entry level for streaming media files for a family.
