Please help ! I really liked the laptop and had no other issues before this.
My preference is to buy another and return this but price now is higher ($249).
Just buy a new one and return the old one under the new receipt, Make sure you get the same color because each color has different UPC code. Trying to do exchange with motile and walmart will probably end up getting you more frustrated.
I am not really missing much about that THX bs since it's just over the headphone and maybe over HDMI out? but not having a forced bios update that might fail halfway is gold!

Just tried installing my old SanDisk z400s m2 sata drive into the open bay of this laptop to look through and have additional storage. It would not read the drive in disk management. Looked through the frontpage and indicates that only drive 1 is set up for sata/nvme. Drive 2 is nvme only
I loaded up my old drive into bay 1 and the motile drive to bay 2. Now it boots to my old drive but the original motile drive is not detected. Is the hardware not compatible?

To confirm: bay 1 (the bay already occupied by the installed MWIN SATA drive) is SATA / NVME
bay 2 (the open one) is NVME only.
So much so that I am expecting it to just break, catch fire or some other catastrophic failure which will break my heart.
I would also add, if it ever goes back to $199 I am buying one for everyone in my family.

If the Ryzen 5 version ever comes back at $299, I'll have to think about getting one of those even though I really don't need it.
