I was going to buy this before until I read too many negative reviews about it burning up and almost catching on fire with pictures to back it up. Now it's listed again and they changed the SKU. Now there's not many reviews and all the negative ones from before are gone. Not worth the risk in my opinion for $6 and why the change for the SKU?

Which ones aren't nowadays?
2 of these allowed me to plug in the boot dryer and fan to dry his sweaty gear between games and charge our devices..

Here's my question: are the Power IQ ports really worth it or is that a gimmick?
I'll be charging 1 Galaxy Note 10+ & 1 iPad Pro.
Unclear what the total watts on the charger are, though it's at least 12W (2.4A x 5 v). If you plan on using both ports and charging a tablet that may matter. If you're charging overnight it might not matter. Though some tablets don't charge well if they don't get enough juice.
Eg the Anker linked in the OP is 18W over 3 ports. That's enough for 1 iPad and 1 iphone.
But their stand-alone chargers are 24W for 2 ports. So if charging speed or capacity matters, these built-in power strip chargers may be too little or too slow. There's a big difference in what different chargers can do.

I'd honestly wait for one with PD and get a lightning to USB C cable for the iPad Pro.
I think the Galaxy supports PD as well
Agree, I also bought a few last month at this price
