If you want quality Les Paul - look into newly released Epiphone guitars - 50s and 60s or Classic models, with new headstock shape they are very close to real Gibsons.
Do you actually have one of these guitars? I do and these are great guitars for the money. A USA made Gibson is better than any Chinese made epiphone- I've had plenty of both to know.
Yes I have- check out trogly's on YouTube if you want to hear how horrible they are. These Gibson's are plek-ed and that alone makes them lightyears beyond the new epiphones. AND resale is always better on a USA Gibson over an epiphone.

I have 4 Epiphones (2 made in 2019) and they are perfect guitars, no issues at all, they all play and sound great. One of them has Gibson 57 Zebra pick-ups, it's as good as Gibson.
You know what the best part is? All of then cost me less than decent Gibson model in used market.
As for quality, it's well know fact that Gibson's quality control has had issues for years, there are multiple reviews and unhappy Gibson USA owners talking about this. BTW, a lot of them complained that Gibson managed to keep lower priced Epiphone products without such issues.

My point was that most players would be better off with and prefer more common traditional design - Les Paul, Stratocaster or Telecaster, for which good cheaper alternatives exist.
