Hey guys,
Is anyone stocking up on "survival items" in fear of the Corona virus? So far I haven't, but I see a lot of the supermarkets empty from people like that here. Are the fears warranted, should I do the same?

Isn't Walmart one of the biggest retailers of this?
Is it all being diverted to hospitals at this point? Just wondering where it is going.
supply chain catching up but I wouldn't be surprised if stock were prioritized to healthcare
they also had eggs
They're indespensariable, huh?

Speaking of eggs though, a regional grocery chain here (Redner's Warehouse Market) had a sign up stating that 'due to supply issues, blah blah blah' the .99¢ egg sale for this week was changed to 2/$5.

Some nobel laureate thinks it's possible the virus is slowing down and things will return to normal soon. I'm not so sure. The hospitals are singing a very different tune.

Well between the measures we have taken and the tendency of pathogens to decrease in severity over time/as they spread [ricochet.com] (meaning they become less deadly/intense)..... I wish it would start acting like spring here!
