Are these suitable for packing leftovers for guests to carry back with them? We don't use any plastic at all at home and end up giving leftovers in our pyrex glass containers only to never see them again.

Are these cheaper than those dollar store versions? All I need them for is single use packing of leftovers for guests. So I'm not looking for long term use / how they survive dishwasher etc. Thanks.

Do the math? I'll do half of it for you. These come out to be ~ 15 cents per container + lid.

Lol I do the same thing, got tired of not getting my damn glass bowls back from family and friends. Go over their house and see them putting their left overs in the bowl I gave them a month ago, no bruh, these leftovers going back home with me now.

I wash and keep some 'To Go' containers from Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel, etc.

If it's just one type of food, I sometimes use a ziplock. No one is getting my dishes anymore.
