Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If I do the no credit check option online, is the port out from T-mobile and into Sprint instant or I need to wait for the sim to arrive by mail? I am trying to find out when does my T-mobile account will be considered canceled/closed, after the sign-up or when the new sim is inserted?

when you activate your sprint line your t mobile account will automatically close, that is if you don't have any other lines in it.

Everyone, don't forget to do Plus instead of basic unlimited. It's the same price with BYOD.
Each line would also say "Save $10 on Plus or Premium" as well.
Upgrades your streaming to 1080p, upgraded gaming and music speeds, as well as Tidal Premium music service, and probably puts you higher up on the totem pole deprioritization wise.

Nycdpi. . .you can most likely still do that upgrade.

Yes I am. The $100 for 5 lines new customer (free 3,4,5) is for new customers financing new phones as well. The bonus for BYOD is $10 off per line of Plus or Premium, on top of the standard new customer 5 for $100 deal. Plus costs $10 more per line than basic. Which is cancelled out by the $10 BYOD bunus.

Their website is doing maintenance but look at BYOD there later this morning.

That is correct, until your mid May 2021 billing cycle starts. But unless you need greater than 1080p on all 5 lines or 100GB of hotspot each of all lines vs. 50GB each on Plus lines. . .you could consider getting one line of Premium for the Amazon Prime + 4 lines of Plus, totaling $110. But I'm not sure what your situation is.

There is a long term difference between no credit and credit accounts for some, if you need high quality vid. If you do credit account, you can also qualify for Sprint Works possibly through your employer. . .meaning on top of all other deals. . .Premium for the price of Plus, i.e $10 per line discount for Premium.

So, on BYOD on a new credit account, you would get 5 lines basic for $100 for next 14 months. . .which also translates to 5 lines of plus for same $100 if doing BYOD. . .and with Sprint Works (employer discount) you would also get 5 lines of Premium for the same $100 for most of those 14 months (says takes up to 2 billing cycles for credits).

You will keep $10 per line BYOD discount as long as you don't finance a new phone later. ANd keep the Premium for the price of plus (if Sprint Works qualified) past the free 3,4,5 promo period regardless of financing a new phone after the promo period.

In my opinion, if you are staying Sprint long term, and with your requirements of service level, the credit account offers more benefits (assuming you get the Sprint Works discount).
