How to cash in your rebate cards:
Prepaid cards can be used to buy the equivalent Walmart gift cards to use for merchandise, groceries or gas. People also buy Amazon gift cards and put the money on their Amazon accounts. If you do a lot of online purchase it is easy to liquidate this without losing money. We can use the cards also to pay for our Sprint bill. We can do it in the my Sprint app and you can choose the amount you want to pay. Great if we have money leftover after we use the card to purchase other items.

for sprint phones (android only)from dial pad dial # # 7 8 6 # (no spaces) hit view. u can see the history of phone date activated, min used etc |
here is what i know (if anyone want to add or fill in where i have not given information?):
note i have hidden some information as it is not allowed on SD rules, and i dont want to break sd rules, but u should be able to figure it out.)
-2. best practice: do all in edge browsewr, not chrome or mozilla. if not edge , try chrome in cognito mode
-1. port in is required for all lines. no contract, but u will need to stay on for 4 months to get gift card of $300
0. best practice: sign up as new user that hasn't been with sprint for ~45 days to be safe.
use spouse name/ etc.
1. pre sign up bonus: there is one (cant tell u how here)
2. decide if u gonna do 1 line or maximize cash back money maker with 5 lines.
a. if 1 line , then kick starer
b. if 5 lines then 5 for 100 plus
c. if 5 lines , then best practice is that they be done once
4. if u need numbers to port in, then ebay sellers have att numbers for $5 each. they are usually quick and will respond with 10 minutes, with account number, pin , telephoen numbers
5. u can byod or buy phone
a. byod , need correct sim for your phones
b. buy phone, people are buying phone from sprint as they sign up.
the best is refurbished lg from sprint for $50.
u can get this phone practically free..if use certain cbsite u will $125 back per line (cant tell u whcih one here)
c. u cannot mix/match byod + buy phone. its either 5 byod or 5 buy phones

Sprint Perks is highly likely stackable with the $300 rebate, see last post from page pg413.
Warning: Plan ahead on your final plan(s) objective. Sign up for whatever plan you're going to keep from the start. Going from Kickstart to the unlimited plans with the BYOD discounts took me nearly 2 hours, 4 reps, a manager and a lot of whining to get and I still wasn't able to get Unlimited Plus for $100 for 5 lines and had to settle with Unlimited Basic for $100. see posts 3641 & 3645, 3653
**Select Sprint Unlimited Plus plan if you have 5 lines to port ... total will still be 5 for $100**
**1st line $60, 2nd line $40, 3rd line Unlimited Basic $0, 4th line Unlimited Basic $0, 5th line Unlimited Basic $0**
to get $300 rebate:
1. Requires port and online registration; Prepaid Mastercard ships after 90 days. - Direct URL - https://www.sprintpromo
2. it is pretty well understood throughout this thread that one must be a new customer, defined as one who has been away from Sprint for > 45 days.
3. Best practice if the numbers ported-in have not previously been on Sprint ever.
i. Sprint lines from 1yr free BYOD will most likely NOT work, not even with a POPI (port out, port in).
see screen shot below on wording that "previously activated number may be ineligible for the offer"
still that hasn't stopped folks from trying. so use your best judgement.
4. there are other items that will make this deal even sweeter. cannot list here, but u need to refer to the posts spread around in this thread.
If you porting in multiple lines to a single account, make sure you do it in one Order otherwise only the first line will qualify as new customer and the rest will be counted as for existing customer

To finish porting, call: Call: 866-437-1818 or 877-503-3269
The easiest method to complete your number port is to DIY on the website.
- Get your order number and passcode (from your order confirmation when you placed your order)
- Activate your SIM cards at this link [sprint.com] using your confirmation number and zip
- Your SIMs are activated but they won't work because your old carrier still has the number
- To get account number, look on the packing slip if you got the sims through Sprint. Or, open a conversation with online chat support. May wait up to 30 mins.
- Ask them for your account number so you can setup your online account. You may be asked for your confirmation number and passcode.
- Setup your online account.
- In your dashboard, you may get an alert stating that your number transfer failed and to click on the link to resolve. Use that link. If you don't have an alert, you can manually find the link under the transfer option.
- The transfer page lists all your activated SIMs and their number transfers. They should all be failed. If you don't see a number, then you haven't activated that SIM or you need to wait a bit longer for Sprints system to refresh.
- Open each transfer and enter the correct verification information for your old carrier. The form fields may already have values prepopulated, I recommend deleting old values and entering in the correct values. Important form fields are account number, pin, and zip.
- Wait 5 minutes, reopen or refresh the transfer page and each number should say "Ready for Transfer". If it tells you to call the Sprint support line, you need to wait longer for Sprint's system to update. Just wait another 5 mins and refresh. If it says failed, then you entered some incorrect information and you need to get the correct information from your old carrier. For example, some carriers expect you to put in leading 0's (i.e. 00012345) for account numbers.
- Whenever you want Sprint to start porting, click on each number on the transfer page and tell Sprint to port. There are 2 confirmations. The ports will take around 10 mins.
- Wait 10 mins and your phones should work. If not just wait longer for the port or you have a different issue.
- Once your numbers have been ported, you can register for the promotion.
Please see page 367 post 5495 for detailed instructions after order placement..

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Looking at the FAQs on the promo site it seems like going through Best Buy may not qualify. It doesn't explicitly list a restriction of not being eligible if signing up with Best Buy, but it's subtle enough that they could deny it based on it:
FAQ quote:
"I received a message that my reward was not purchased from a qualifying location.
Please review the rules of the promotion and confirm that the card was purchased at a qualifying location. If you purchased a qualifying card at a participating location, please contact us and we'll help resolve the issue."
Hard to say what this statement applies to given the mention of a "card", though. Maybe it was geared to a previous promo.
On a related note, If it does qualify, I wonder if getting a discounted (or free like the Moto E6) phone through Best Buy would disqualify. (The terms say the phone purchase must be purchased at the SRP)
So far I have registered one BYOD port-in and 1 Moto E6 port-in through BB. Plan to do a final BYOD port in the next day, also through the $25 BB Kickstart.
So, on BYOD on a new credit account, you would get 5 lines basic for $100 for next 14 months. . .which also translates to 5 lines of plus for same $100 if doing BYOD. . .and with Sprint Works (employer discount) you would also get 5 lines of Premium for the same $100 for most of those 14 months (says takes up to 2 billing cycles for credits).
You will keep $10 per line BYOD discount as long as you don't finance a new phone later. ANd keep the Premium for the price of plus (if Sprint Works qualified) past the free 3,4,5 promo period regardless of financing a new phone after the promo period.
In my opinion, if you are staying Sprint long term, and with your requirements of service level, the credit account offers more benefits (assuming you get the Sprint Works discount).

$160 for you. . .
If you are a first responder, I might do this promo deal at first, then go back to TMO for their first responder deals long term. . .

In the past I've used T-Mobile prepaid SIM cards to port in/out, usually $9.99 through Amazon, but now they require an additional $10 to port-in. There seems to be ~$1.99 T-Mobile (non-physical) ICCIDs for sale on eBay, so net cost would be ~$12 for a port out that way. There may be cheaper options I'm not aware of. I've done T-Mobile in the past because it's nearly instant port-out/port-in.
The $25 kickstart can be done online at Best Buy without BYOD by purchasing a phone. I did it at my local Best Buy store since I was using a family member for the new account creation and doing BYOD at first. Getting the $300 rebate while going through Best Buy's Kickstart is still YMMV. I plan to stay on Sprint until rates go up (according to T-Mobile they won't raise rates for 3 years post merger), so it was worth to register for the promo and see if it goes through.
For those doing this strictly as a MM, best would be to sign up directly with Sprint to ensure they don't deny the rebate based on signing up via a third party (Best Buy).
Like I mentioned on my earlier post, if going though Best Buy qualifies for the $300, the safest route may be BYOD given the terms mention purchasing the phone at the SRP (suggested retail price?). If it ends up qualifying with any phone purchase regardless, the Moto E6 is the option to pick, currently free at Best Buy (says $49.99 through Sprint, then shows free in checkout)
In short, to make sure the purchase is qualified, go with Sprint directly for the $35 kickstart. I wanted to lock down the lower service price through BB and Sprint happened to have the promo registering link available, so I went with it to see if it sticks, but YMMV
Excl. 11+ Corporate-liable, prepaid & ports made between Sprint and related entities. Prepaid Card/Virtual.
They always use interesting lingo, I've been a customer for then for 10+ years and then switched to Tello. $10 mo. Zero BS...I'm good with that.
Let me know what you find out too!

Everyone, don't forget to do Plus instead of basic unlimited. It's the same price with BYOD.
Each line would also say "Save $10 on Plus or Premium" as well.
Upgrades your streaming to 1080p, upgraded gaming and music speeds, as well as Tidal Premium music service, and probably puts you higher up on the totem pole deprioritization wise.
Nycdpi. . .you can most likely still do that upgrade.
Needgeech, all, did anyone have issue creating a new "no credit check" account either while having a current active credit check acct or a past, cancelled credit check acct? Any issue with using the same email address? This would be very useful info if anyone can confirm it. Thank you.
